Nice to see Serato moving forward with new innovation and catching up to RB, VDJ and Traktor, now all they need is to convert Pyro to automix function for a laptop and I will have a ONE Dj software for all my gigs

I was so sad I didn't buy flip for $1 when I had the chance. "What would I use that for" I said to myself. But thought, I should get it anyway since so cheap. A few months later I realise why I could use Flip, and end out forking out a bunch for it. Bahhhhh!

Great video! I have a quick question though. Unlike in your video, when I downloaded Serato for free it asked if I was using it with the controller or just the laptop. I picked the controller. I understand this shouldn’t work with a controller as you said but it gives me an option. I don’t have a controller yet but want to get one. Do you think the software could work still with a controller in this situation?

I'm in the same boat, except after downloading Serato Pro, I had a play and thought it would be better with a controller, so I bought a Hercules Dj Starlight. So now I'm going to be stick with the Lite version instead.

Hey. I'm using serato Pro and paying for it with my controller. My laptop doesn't have avx so using an older version. Do you know whether there is anything I can have done to my laptop to enable me to use the up to date software? Or do I have to bite bullet and get another laptop? I'm 8 weeks into learning!
Unfortunately if your laptop does not meet the minimum requirement for the software you’d need to upgrade it

I understand that the discount code has expired, but it should still work if I *buy* the Play expansion, right?
Unfortunately, they raised the price to $39, to which EU residents have to add another 19%, yuk!

a) Serato Pro,
b) Serato Lite or
c) alternate between both?
AFAIK Play is the only expansion that works with both Pro and Lite, but I'm afraid you can't have both Pro & Lite on your computer at the same time (or can you?).
Yes you can just buy Play in that case, it's no problem to have Lite and Pro on your computer at the same time

Yes that's fine though if you haven't bought a license and are only using hardware unlock devices that could be your issue

No you can't, and you don't need Serato Pro, it'll work with Lite out of the box

It runs really bad on my windows 10 laptop. Takes ages to load, it freezes randomly, it does nothing when I press the "My Serato" button, what's going on? I konow it's not my hardware as I have never suffered anything like this before.
