These are great. Love the choice of releasing a whole range of racing campervans! Something a bit different.
Bit of an obscure reference, but seeing those two race around that colourful, little track... it reminded me of Driift, an e-shop game for the Nintendo Wii. That was great fun!

That looks like massive fun! I raced 1/32 slot cars from the age of about 15, and this totally reminds me of how much fun the racing was!!!!!
I think it's just an other body for the Turbo Racing 1:76.
And Tamiya/Carson has a also a VW in 1:87.
This is even smaller than 1:76 and that one has the right proportions with the right scale.
These cars and the track are ridiculously good. It's the mooneyes yellow one for my favourite and the kitbox too... Just so many nice touches that should be STANDARD ON ALL 1/10 RC CARS! Especially as the money you pay for some of them isn't cheap

You need some kind of work bench/table on castors so you can move it around. Save the old back and knees. 👍
These cars seem ideal for people in small appartments with or without the track mats. Get a few friends together and start on the lowest speeds and work your way up to top speed and fun will be had. Combine them with the other micro cars out there and you have variation. I obviously missed your videos showing the micro off road obstacles but i thought that was a great idea as well.
good on them, you were hitting some pretty sharp turns and they didn't flip over...and remember: rubbin' is racin'!!! hahah

It's awesome to see micro RC coming back. Losi doesn't make the micro T anymore, and Tomy Q-steer isn't easy to get.

I've been looking at HO slot cars and tracks. Those cars are about $40 (usd) each, which makes it both difficult, and easy, to justify $83 (usd) for one of these. Nice to be living in times good enough to have that type of decision "issue."
Appreciate LDARC's generosity so you could bring these to everyone's attention.

Not that anyone cares... But, I decided that these [new] micro RCs (and the vendor) will have to wait until they get some good consumer reviews under their belt.
So, I went with a slot car drag track w/2 "exclusive" VW van drag cars and 3 additional cars, on sale plus a 15% discount code. I'm all in for about $130 (usd), and delivered from a stateside vendor I can trust.
I look forward to that race with 5 of them! Impressive little tikes aren't they?! Cheers Phil 👌

Finally a video from someone with a bit of a clue about RC, saw those a while ago, but wasn't so sure about actual quality.
I got some of the Turbo Racing ones, would be interesting to see how they are in comparison? I am not 100% convinced about the Turbo racing cars for actual racing, they are just this tiny bit too inaccurate. If these are better, I would give it a try. Maybe you could do a comparison video on that track? Also size-wise, 1:64 vs. 1:76 can't be that much of a difference, but maybe it's enough. Finally, if LDARC would bring out a replacement for Kyosho dNano, this could make them a new star on the RC Horizon. The Mini-Z are a bit too big for Home racing (you need 10+ m2 space for a halfway decent track, and many people simply don't have that.), 1:43 reduces this quite abit while providing a similar performance.

2:14 sticker on the tool box. I used to travel for business and went EVERYWHERE. I thought damn, I should have put a sticker on my tool box every time I went somewhere new...then started, then promptly got canned after 2 trips lol..so I only had TWO on my tool box after maybe 80 diff places! DOH. It was brutal tho, flying from NYC to Denver to Atlanta To San fran, back to Atlanta up to Toronto out to Edmonchuck down to Miami up to Vancougar, down to NOLA
Time zones meant zilch to me after a while hahaha

Very similar to the Turbo Racing cars, though the handset is far superior especially given its rechargeable.
Keen to see how the LDARC compare and what body types come out next!
Over 20 years ago when the mini z first became popular, I used to use zip tie sticker holders on the carpet and use garden hose for the guard rails. Add a couple jumps and some aggressive driving and you got yourself guaranteed carnage and fun.
