When it comes to defying gravity part at 04:03, horizontal structural integrity for stones in your example isn't consistent due to CageFloor1x1 piece that is beneath, not having a consistent structural integrity depending on orientation. You can get more or less structural integrity depending how you orient it. It's actually a bug.

Thank you for replying and yes, chances are high this will suddenly be fixed in a future update. When making these setups it was a fun twist that I did not expect at all :)!

What an amazing video, So much detail and work gone into this. This is the best Guide on support I have seen. Thanks

Its a nice video, but it lacks more concrete information about combinations and what the numeric possibilitys are. I know other valheim creators cover it, but it would have been nice to include here too to rival them. Valheim is great and its always nice to see content creators for it.

Fair enough, I needed to focus on some other things too so if time allowed it, it would have been part of the video. Be sure to like and subscribe, they are free ways to support and allow me to put even more time into these videos, since I am not done covering this awesome game yet! ;)

Ooh yes! More science is always better! Never settle and always keep asking questions 🔬

I love this, great job on condensing all the info for things. 😊
The structural integrity system is weird and ever changing, was thinking about making a video on how it works.. but they change some things every other update 😅
Those gravity defying things are staying up because of how the calculation system works, Its not gravity based 👀 build pieces calculate integrity from the closest grounded piece going outward & reset their calculations every time the zone is loaded or every time a new piece is added.
in some cases you can trick it do really crazy things 🤣🤣 but those also cause lag due to things constantly trying to do the calculations. 🙊

Thank you for the kind words and support!
The support in Valheim is such an interesting subject with also a couple of question marks for sure!
It really got me flabbergasted, and I tried multiple designs afterwards to put it more to the test. Sadly I forgot to put some other tests in the video. I made them close by so if the structure was still settling it would get the time to do so. But even after closing the game and hopping back on, the support stayed the same.
      It's so weird :D!

@@emmatpotato yw, whenever you close the game and hop back on, the structural integrity starts calculating all over again. Some setups trick the calculations into forever calculating which cause lags.

It does seem to loop somewhere, something must be going wrong in the math. Maybe one day there will be an update that will fix this sorcery!
