Exports of goods and services consist of transactions in goods and services (sales, barter, and gifts) from residents to non-residents. Exports of goods occur when economic ownership of goods changes between residents and non-residents.

      @@shrey1235 It's really the largest, because at that time, all of them were exported from China, basically not imported! Middle Eastern people earn a lot of wealth as intermediaries. How much do you think Chinese people can earn? In 1800, China almost made all the silver in the world, while Europe's pursuit of tea, porcelain and silk was still crazy! Then Europeans had to challenge China, which still looked strong.Unfortunately, China in the 18th century only looked powerful, but it was actually decayed.

    As a Vietnamese, I feel excitedly because in 1986 we exported less than the Philippines, but by 2020, we have exported as much as Thailand, Malaysia and even more than Indonesia even though our country has went through many wars until 1975 and didn't open to the world until 1986

      Great nation, that the advantage of meritocracy government and having a one single party that makes decision and facilitate long terms plans. Unlike in the philippines with very colorful political system that result to changes in long term plans whether a change of administration takes place. Vietnam only started in1979 after the war while Phil started in 1950s. Now vietnam has larger GDP than Phil.
