Thanks for the comment. That discussion is worth a video by itself! The arbor washers are required to stabilize and straighten a single blade. The dado stack should also use the arbor washers if you can, but the very thick stack will not fit both washers. I would definitely use at least one washer on the inside. Then tighten down the nut well. You will be able to see if the spin is straight or not. You can also get thinner arbor washers if you need them, (depending on the table saw and dado stack). I explain the dado insert fairly well. Not necessarily needed depending on the cut.
Not sure how long you've been doing this, but both of those main blade washers should be used, and, get your self a Dado insert !
