Me when the Ronin main is at 1% health and then pulls me from 100% to 0% in the span of 20 seconds
Ronin is the “just don’t get hit” type of character some times
I love the big slash hitpause, really lets you think about how you're going to do your combo while your enemy writhes in pain
You even get one action to let your opponent know that they are really just fucked
This character is literally made for the sugarcoat meme lmao, the hitstop is too perfect

So Ronin's schtick if that he has fantastic attacks and horrible everything else, right? (Judging from the lack of free cancels, air options, burst, and generally shitty disadvantage)
Basically but his UI is broken you get 2 air options and 2 free cancels. But even then his disadvantage is basically non-existent. Keep your space at the start of the game and then punish when they do something stupid. Your in advantage the rest of the game.
But yeah his disadvantage is actual ass especially in the air where everything is close quarters

He is heavily inspired by Tanjiro, and Ronin is extremely good at having long combos that allow him to pull a game back if near death.

I’m not going to falsely advertise the game to you it’s a turn based strategy fighting game instead of a real time one, if your character can react on that frame you can pick something to do that frame and have a frame 1 reaction.

@@fernando47180 Disadvantage as in when you have no air options and are still able to act. Ronin has very poor moves when acting in this state
Disadvantage is when the enemy is comboing you

Got serious against himself in a private single player room
Best way too learn is doing combos in the lab with different di, some matches are also played in person (video about how I do that later)
@@cocoa_games I also used to play in person but it makes no sense, i mean its impossible not know what the otehr one does, even if you don't look you still have to take your turn l8ter
I actually found a way to make it possible involving a timer. One player is able to look at their and their opponents options for a minute while the other does not look then the opponent’s turn to do the same. Both players will write down their attacks/ actions of choice, and after each player has had their designated 1 minute the actions are selected and the play will continue through that cycle.
