- It's Week 1 of the college football season which means the annual tradition of teams overestimating their season outlook based on one game is upon us. But just how do SEC teams react to playing cup cake directional schools in Week 1?

Yeah, think the folks doing the wellness checks from last season need to pay Florida a visit.
At least they lost to Utah. Us Gamecocks gave up 9 sacks and got -2 rushing yards against one of last year's most abysmal defenses

Based on the perfect start, I think the Pac 12 will be the best conference and will decide to stay together forever!
It would be kind of amazing if the Pac 12 conference has the best season across the board this year, gets two teams into the playoffs and then the championship game is between those two.
I mean, I obviously want MY team to win everything, but you have to admit that would be HILARIOUS.
I always want utter chaos. That would qualify.
I think it's more of a money thing. Don't matter if the pac 12 is good or not. It wouldn't matter if that scenario played out or not if the pac 12 can't pay them as much as the big 10. The acc will be the next to crumble for the same reason.

You know things are weird when the entire PAC-12 went 13-0 in week 1. Interesting how that’s the first time a every team in 1 conference wins every game since 1932.
Obviously they will take all four spots in the playoff this year, and will have to split the Heisman four ways.

Step off the ledge. Kirby treated it like a scrimmage. I counted at least 4 true freshman on defense in the first half. I’m sure if things get too bad in Ga. They can find another year of eligibility for Stetson Bennett, something like QB’s who graduated last year and was collecting Social Security checks. Not saying Bennett was old but half the players on TCU’s team wasn’t born yet when Bennett started college

We're not going to be calling anything special until after the south Carolina game. Others have pointed it out already we were playing our entire roster. There were defensive players I've never even heard of making plays in this game lol

That said, a whiff and a miss on UGA: most of the fan pages on Facebook are filled with Gloom and Doom about how shaky things were the first half. People are calling for Bobo's head on a platter (which is beyond nuts).
Bobo was fired from his last two jobs, and we had the same clock issues and 165 pound tailback up the gut problems when he was limiting our potential for a decade with his valium-commercial mentor.
He did that as much as any other offensive coordinator does, bet you said Bennet was terrible.

Virgina actually a FBS team
They are a mid ACC usually, still D1 athletes and a good defense. Tennessee has some DUDES on that team and a coach that never finishes out of the top 10 in offense.
