Navigation Plotting is an essential skill for working in the maritime industry. This video is an introduction to some of those concepts. If you've spent lots of time on the water, but have not pursued a professional license, you should consider yourself a candidate for an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) 6-Pack license. This license allows you to charter vessels with up to 6 paying passenger and is the first step to a career in the maritime industry, full-time or part-time!

This was an absolute godsend.. Sending Cpt Dave and the NE Maritime Channel many thanks!! 🙏
Thank the heavens for this video, would’ve never been able to figure it out on my own. Been a few years since I went through it in school, and if ya don’t use it, ya LOSE it.
It has been over 8 years since I had tried one of these problems. Capt Medeiros explained it so well that it was as if It was yesterday In my mind .Well done.
Bought a boat in FL and will be moving up the coast on its own bottom to NYC, through the canals and onto the Great Lakes. Going outside the whole way to NYC and this will be my first ocean passage. I've been studying off and on for an event like this for 22 years. I can't tell you how helpful these videos have been. It's tough to simply read a book and gain proficiency without some classroom instruction; which is hard to come by here in Colorado! Thanks again!
More thankful for the feedback update knowledge. Sir
Great Instruction.
please post more videos like this

How can any normal person remember how to do all of this! ?!
Repetition .. the more you do the better you get
