Earth, wind and fire is one of the greatest bands, and gave us so much amazing music! And you have done a great job covering one of their greatest hits. The lead singers voice sounds amazingly like Philip Bailey when he hits those high notes.🎉🎉🎉

But they COULD spare a word of empathy for their two former bandmates/Ukrainians, no? Not a single word. Cowardly? Heartless? Pragmatic? I'm leaning towards the former - and hate that. They're a GREAT band. But ... If they have the freedom to tour the US and make a decent income from it - they need to somehow allow for at least a statement of empathy for at least Serge, who remains in Kyiv - under persistent attack from the country these folks call home.

It's not even the same as the Irish in Britain. Relations between Ukrainians and Russians are 100 times deeper. This is the relationship of two divorced lesbians who share property and find out who is better. This is love and hate. This war is not only physical.

Also without doubt, Ukraine was an internationally recognized sovereign nation that was invaded twice by Russia with the conflict still raging in Ukraine. Russians and Ukrainians are capable of understanding that. Serge - the Ukrainian vocalist/multi-instrumentalist that was so integral to the first decade of LAF speaks rather eloquently about their struggle. I'm guessing he understands both the nuance and the painfully non-nuanced context in which this grotesque "special military action" is taking place. LAF shouldn't skate without comment if they expect to travel & profit freely while former musicians from their band remain at home, under siege.

@@LoisFox131 I saw them near the beginning of the spring tour, which was very shortly after they released the Fantasy video. When they kicked it off, I couldn’t believe that they were even attempting to perform it live, and then I couldn’t believe how good it sounded and how well they managed to replicate the studio performance. I’ve seen a lot of videos of EW&F performing this song live, and I don’t believe they ever did it any better than Leonid and Friends do.
This band are unreal,!!!!! So damn good, close your eyes and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t E.W. &F.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍
