الله المستعان ، للأسف البعض يستمتع بالأمر كانه لعبة يشجع فيها فريق ضد الأخر بدل ان ينشغل المسلم بما يفيده من دروس السيرة وما يلزمه من علم شرعي يقيم به صلاته وحياته على نهج الإسلام .بهذا يجد السعادة و الراحة و الخير لا في المشاحنات و المناظرات ، و للاسف بعض الناس انشغلو بنقشات و الاخذ و الرد وضيعوا فرص تعليم الناس الدين الشرعي و اكتساب الاجر بذالك .

One thing about debating it took me a while to understand is that a lot of religious debating these days is based on falsification, the idea that if one bad thing is found in a religion then that religion cant be true, so lets falsify every religion and then only Islam (or other religion) will be left.
This approach is basically the scientific method. A theory will be popular in science until it's disproven. A theory yet to be disproven is considered to be true. This applied to Newtonian and Einsteinian physics, the model of the atom, etc. It's great for ascertaining facts when we can experiment to falsify.
But religions and philosophies cannot be experimented on. You can't live multiple lives to see which truly grants you a peaceful afterlife. You can't try a bunch of religions and see which you like better (because religion isn't about your preference it's about God).
Focusing on whats most likely to be false about every religion neglects the amazing and wonderful morals, lessons, and stories of each one. The Seerah of the Prophet is a story full of bravery, mercy, pragmatism, and unwavering belief. It can, like you said, soothe our souls and bring us comfort and peace with our own worldly struggles. It is not solely a document in which to try to find the most possibly flawed passages and overanalyze them.
I'm not saying not to be critical, but we should remember that the Quran tells us in The Cave, that sometimes God or a Prophet will do something we cannot fathom the morality or wisdom of (like Khidr killing the boy or damaging the boat), and we were never meant to understand it in the first place. That doesn't take away from the station of the Prophet or Allah nor does it invalidate the valuable teachings of our (and many faiths).
So true. I once had a mini mental confusion after listening to Farid reacting to CP for a long time.
Personally, I think Farid was justifying in doing so.
Also, Farid does have educational Islamic videos.
He has encouraged his viewers several times to read hadith books and fiqh books. He doesn't do it just for entertainment.

Broski keep in mind health wise u need to actually stop the the bad habit whereas in islam u can fight it off w easy but very effective good habits like zikr n the multiplied zikr not to mention making istighfar from that sin can literally turn that sin into a benefit
