The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

WoW!!!The Ed sullivan Show sure had its share of great acts. Wish the entire run could be released on DVD in its entirety and not just a select few acts.
Ed sure put the "variety" in variety show, didn't he.. a genuine treasure trove of the entire spectrum of entertainment of the mid-20th century.
I too wish they could put the entire ES show on dvd, but don't stop with Ed.. let's have Carol Burnett, Dean Martin, and all those great shows of yore!

From the age of twenty until today she has lived in Spain, a total of 65 years living in Spain, she also has her Spanish nationality, and she herself has said that she She has always felt Spanish, that's why her love for flamenco dance and Spanish culture... She was born in Mexico by accident but her accent, her culture and her life are in Spain.

Ella aprendió todos los ritmos españoles y bailes en Mexico desde los 5 hasta los 20 años! A los 16 años fue descubierta por otra grande bailarina española y le impresiona tanto que entró a la gira en Mexico y Estados Unidos y después ella emigró a españa para seguir brillando y hacer carrera allá, donde también se casó!

Tourist dancers cannot do what she did. She studied with Carmen Amaya and was performing around the world.
U have no idea what u talking about!! She is one of the greatest flamenco dancer!! Carmen Amaya contract her for 3 years in her company! And she was the star figure of "El Corral de la Moreria" (the best tablao in Spain) for more than 15 years!! Learn more about flamenco before write stupid things

She is one of the greatest flamenco dancers in history. Her sense of rhythm was perfect. Even today in her 80’s, although her singing and dancing days are past, she performs as a castanetista with orchestras, and her rhythm is a sharp as ever. Long life to this great artist!
