- It may not have been a November to remember, but by golly, it sure was a summer, and an October to remember. Take a look back at the journey that this 2016 Cleveland Indians team went through all season long, and into the postseason. As Hammy says at the end of the video, "can't wait for next year". we will all dread that day, but he needs more love. He is so enthusiastic and I love it. He also does that sometimes for the other teams when we're facing them. Yea but he needs more love and he is the most underrated announcer ever and should be the best. HE GOES HAMMY! LOL

Growing up, in the car with my dad hearing Hamilton yell in excitement after the Indians did something amazing, are memories I’ll truly never forget.

it hurts to watch this.. still feels like I'd been kicked in the stomach. I wanted to see them win it all so bad. The sad thing is like all smaller market teams when things fall into place they usually only get one chance, you never see the lower payroll teams repeat this sort of success the following year. Oh well.. I can't wait for it to all start over next year. Go Tribe!
JimmyFoxhound Thank you. It hurts but at some points I smile and remember all the calls where I heard them, when I heard them. The games I went to and yet I ended the video with a horrible feeling. I just wish it was April tomorrow.
I hear ya. Fortunately, most everyone will be back next year and hopefully we'll be healthy. It's a small window, but this team has a strong chance to return to the Fall Classic on the strength of their pitching.

What hurt us against the cubs was klubber hurting his shoulder and then trying to pitch game 7. If he was healthy that game goes to the Indians and we win the world series.

Tom Hamilton, Jim Donovan, & Joe Tate (when he did) are the best Cleveland sports announcers of our time. Makes every game on the radio every bit more interesting with them reading them play by play.

As a Tribe Fan, this hurt to see them get to another Game 7 and lose in the end. But both teams, the Cubs and Indians, deserved to be in this Series. And both deserved to win it. Hopefully the Indians get everyone back and they can get back here next year.

The hell it wasn't a November to remember. This isn't like when the Cavs TOOK a 3-1 lead AWAY from Golden State...the Indians had no chance on paper, but it literally took God taking a leak on Cleveland to finally stop the Tribe's momentum for good in 2016. Best World Series of our lifetimes. Congrats Cubs, and good God, if we stay healthy next year, no one else in the AL has a chance.

Losing a championship on a sacrifice "pop-up" by the Cubs. A homer off Miller of all people. The rain delay. The bum Shaw. Yeah, it still keeps me up some nights. Naquin's inside the park homer was the best moment of the season for me.

1997 was much stranger than that--the freezing cold, strange hops and random bounces... I don't know which is worse-- the 60's and 70's when they had no chance, or watching them lose the Series three times...

I'm a die hard indians fan that is a high schooler and I live in Chicago. The worst days of my life were the ones following the world series. All my friends just hated on me like crazy not only that but In between classes they played " Go Cubs Go". It was easily the worst day of my life. But I'll always stay loyal #GoTribe

Who knew it would be a great sports year in Cleveland??? Monsters win The Calder cup, Stipe Miocic wins UFC heavyweight title, The Cavaliers win 1st title in franchise history and 1st since 1964 and The Tribe surprised us all!! Yes, they came up short but what a year overall.
I want the Indians to win a world series so bad. They've had so many opportunities and keep coming up short! I'm still sick to my stomach they were up 3-1 and lost.
Kind of depressing how little people showed up in the earlier months of the season. Oh well, ROLL TRIBE
I know. It seems everybody who hated baseball loved it again in October lol. I can tell you that from living in NEO. All I know is that we were there, listening in the grind in August. I just got my new house in April, I had no furniture, no television, and no internet. I had a radio and I just sat in my room on my floor and listened to the games. I felt like I took a trip back in time.
Especially since the Indians were good again.
I think I got a tear in my eye~~~ Ok, I'll stop quoting Eminem. But seriously, this a great video! And to see them fo that far after ESPN ranked that they would be the 15th best team in the MLB, and then go to the WS, then lose in Game *7* to a team that was *destined* to win the WS, it juat breaks me. But, all in all, itwas a *great* season for the amazing Cleveland Indians.

This incarnation of the Indians/Guardians should've won the WS. They were a dynamite team that year. Look at the lineup: Lindor, Napoli, Santana, Clevenger, Gomes (I think), Ramirez, Naquin, etc..
