I could still smell Black Orchid 24 hrs later :)) My boss complimented me :) I think I also added 2 more parfums to my clothes. As I said très, très sauvage with the atomization but I have a weak sense of smell... ciao!
I'm a dark chocolate girl, in food and scents. 😍🍫 My biggest problem with chocolate as a scent is that sometimes the fragrance reminds me more of Tootsie Rolls rather than a nice creamy chocolate. You reminded me of cacao grinding in Mexico! It always reminded our daughter of watching Dora The Explorer singing, "Báte, báte, chocoláte." 😂when she was little. That Pears and Chocolate sounds nice. 😍 Well, they all do actually! 🎂🍩🍫 MMm, that Carnal Cacao too. 🥰

At 4:00 I've always loved TF Black Orchid.. it was one of his very first scents. Tom Ford fragrances are what started the whole niche/luxury fragrance trend the last 10-15 years. Creed probably helped also.

So glad you mentioned Fresh...I have one from several years ago that I cannot find. It's called "Fleurs de Chocolat " It says, "Approved 8/2/97." I am savoring every drop!!! Hello Veronica, I had to dig into my chocolate stash before watching your video. It sounds like you have an amazing list of videos coming up to make. You did a great job describing the fragrances you mentioned. I have been sampling Atelier Materi fragrances this week. I like them they smell wonderful, but wish they were stronger and longer lasting for the price. I also sampled Ex Idolo Love and Crime which is lovely too. The only one I have from your list is the Orchidee Vanille, which I do like wearing to bed. - Jenn

Ooh love your listy! I really enjoy Kyse Oui Plus - it’s basically a S’more fragrance so it’s crazy good and not synthetic at all. I love layering my more serious deep fragrances with it when I crave a softer place to land. Regina by Afnan has a jammy rose candy and gentle chocolate scent that I really enjoy. This one layers well too. Mmmmm love me some chocolate wherever I can get it🥰❤️!

Great video Veronica. I love the sound of Dua's Dark Chocolate, Rum and Vanilla, I'm definitely going to get a sample. Think I might be tempted to drink it rather than spray it on my skin! I recently got a sample of Angel Muse EDP, which is lovely and very long lasting, but as you said the EDT is more chocolatey I'm going to try to find a sample of that too. I would love to get Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord but the longevity issues really put me off. Such a shame as it sounds beautiful. You look lovely as always and perfectly matched to the fragrance note you're talking about. You look beautifully chocolatey - if there is such a thing! :)

Hi Veronica! I love eating white chocolate and drinking milk chocolate🥰. I have just started to get used with the note of chocolate. With some perfumes, it is hard for me to notice the note of chocolate. Unless, I dig my nose real deep. I am still learning. Hugo Boss Private accord is pleasant but the performance is so poor on me 😞. Prada Candy Night is also very pleasant. My favorite part is the initial spray. I wish it'd stay like that though. I love CocoWoods by Nest! And I really love their bottles. Thanks for sharing your favorite chocolate perfumes!

Oh, my true favorite chocolate is one of many local companies, Parkside Candy in Buffalo. Their sponge candies are the very best. They ship in a heat resistant mailer upon request. Frango mints from Chicago are also excellent. They are $26 for 15 pieces but melt in your mouth. If I am stumped for holiday gift ideas, they are both always a hit. Parkside sponge candy comes in milk chocolate, dark, and orange chocolate. Yum.

I never thought I liked chocolate notes, but I tried montale chocolate greedy, it was okay, kinda dry cocoa like Swiss miss hot chocolate, then I tried over the chocolate shop, and I love it! You are right it doesn’t last. Cacao, coffee, and a little vanilla. I’m going to look into a few on your list that aren’t part of my collection, like carnal cacao, so thank you! My favorite fragrance for years was carnal flower, so anything named “carnal” with tuber rose sounds amazing.

I fell in love with Black Orchid long before my addiction to fragrances. I have Dua's 1996 original formulation. I have Maremma too. Yesss to Dua's dupe of Guerlain...love it! I have Julianna's version too but like Dua's better. I also enjoy Cacao Dreams Prive. A Chocolate Affair by Dua (100ml bottles) is lovely. It's a boozy, cocoa powder scent with hints of citrus. I also like their dupe of Ikiryo Chocognac called Choco Cognac. All time favorite chocolate is Dua's Belgian Choco Truffle and the flankers I have. They're delicious. (BTW, I need to check out your other channel to see if you picked up Natasha Denon's new palette. I got it and it's pretty.)

My little sister's signature scent is Black Orchid. It totally fits her strong standoff-ish personality. I could never pull it off, but it suits her well! I've been selling off most of my collection and trying to figure out what I want to be my signature scent. I'm leaning towards one in the L'interdit line, but I still have about 10 fragrances that I'm working through to make up my mind.

You probably know that a load of guys wear Tom Ford's Black Orchid edp. I picked up a few 50 ml bottles for $45 each when Costco had a great sale at the end of 2019. As others have indicated, I'm surprised Montale's Chocolate Greedy didn't make the list. Another one that might surprise you is Rihanna's Rebelle, a really nice cheapie that came out in 2012. It was a powerhouse of a scent when first released but like almost everything released before 2015, I think it's since been reformulated.

I prefer milk chocolate with nothing added, or dark chocolate with orange or peppers. When I burst into tears about something random like the making of the Suez Canal my husband automatically brings chocolate home 😂 One of the local South Asian grocers has Cadbury UK bars, which have more milkfat than the Hershey version. That's my favorite besides Coffee Crisp and Aero. I usually avoid chocolate fragrance reviews because I'm not big on gourmand fragrances but I saw several on Al Rehab Choco Musk and wondered if you covered it because it sounds like a good stocking stuffer.

Angel muse the edt and edp were blind buys for me. And I was so upset at first because I got mostly the tart heavy opening and it was too much. Then…after a few months I went back to them and fell in love! I don’t love the first maybe 15 minutes but then I adore it. EDT is better to me. But yes, they are chewy! Haha! Didn’t think of them like that before. I used to loathe gourmands but love them now and I wear them frequently including chocolate scents.

I have been sampling Atelier Materi fragrances this week. I like them they smell wonderful, but wish they were stronger and longer lasting for the price. I also sampled Ex Idolo Love and Crime which is lovely too. The only one I have from your list is the Orchidee Vanille, which I do like wearing to bed. - Jenn

Ooh love your listy! I really enjoy Kyse Oui Plus - it’s basically a S’more fragrance so it’s crazy good and not synthetic at all. I love layering my more serious deep fragrances with it when I crave a softer place to land. Regina by Afnan has a jammy rose candy and gentle chocolate scent that I really enjoy. This one layers well too. Mmmmm love me some chocolate wherever I can get it🥰❤️!

Great video Veronica. I love the sound of Dua's Dark Chocolate, Rum and Vanilla, I'm definitely going to get a sample. Think I might be tempted to drink it rather than spray it on my skin! I recently got a sample of Angel Muse EDP, which is lovely and very long lasting, but as you said the EDT is more chocolatey I'm going to try to find a sample of that too. I would love to get Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord but the longevity issues really put me off. Such a shame as it sounds beautiful.

Hi Veronica! I love eating white chocolate and drinking milk chocolate🥰. I have just started to get used with the note of chocolate. With some perfumes, it is hard for me to notice the note of chocolate. Unless, I dig my nose real deep. I am still learning. Hugo Boss Private accord is pleasant but the performance is so poor on me 😞. Prada Candy Night is also very pleasant. My favorite part is the initial spray. I wish it'd stay like that though. I love CocoWoods by Nest! And I really love their bottles. Thanks for sharing your favorite chocolate perfumes!

Oh, my true favorite chocolate is one of many local companies, Parkside Candy in Buffalo. Their sponge candies are the very best. They ship in a heat resistant mailer upon request. Frango mints from Chicago are also excellent. They are $26 for 15 pieces but melt in your mouth. If I am stumped for holiday gift ideas, they are both always a hit. Parkside sponge candy comes in milk chocolate, dark, and orange chocolate. Yum.

I never thought I liked chocolate notes, but I tried montale chocolate greedy, it was okay, kinda dry cocoa like Swiss miss hot chocolate, then I tried over the chocolate shop, and I love it! You are right it doesn’t last. Cacao, coffee, and a little vanilla. I’m going to look into a few on your list that aren’t part of my collection, like carnal cacao, so thank you! My favorite fragrance for years was carnal flower, so anything named “carnal” with tuber rose sounds amazing.

I fell in love with Black Orchid long before my addiction to fragrances. I have Dua's 1996 original formulation. I have Maremma too. Yesss to Dua's dupe of Guerlain...love it! I have Julianna's version too but like Dua's better. I also enjoy Cacao Dreams Prive. A Chocolate Affair by Dua (100ml bottles) is lovely. It's a boozy, cocoa powder scent with hints of citrus. I also like their dupe of Ikiryo Chocognac called Choco Cognac. All time favorite chocolate is Dua's Belgian Choco Truffle and the flankers I have. They're delicious. (BTW, I need to check out your other channel to see if you picked up Natasha Denon's new palette. I got it and it's pretty.)

I will try to wear Angel Muse Edt more in these coming months to see if I like it more in the cooler weather, since I didn't really like it in hot and humid months. The Dua dupe of Black Phantom is good and The Dark Chocolate, Rum and Vanilla is on my list for next time 😉
Oh thank you soooo much! I worked hard to match my makeup to the theme and the lights washed out the tones. 😩🥴😵💫 Amore de Cacao is one I need to revisit. I purchased it a few years ago and sent it back. It seemed so faint, but I'd be happy to try it again. Angel Muse in the heat would be daunting! Definitely a cooler weather one.

You probably know that a load of guys wear Tom Ford's Black Orchid edp. I picked up a few 50 ml bottles for $45 each when Costco had a great sale at the end of 2019. As others have indicated, I'm surprised Montale's Chocolate Greedy didn't make the list. Another one that might surprise you is Rihanna's Rebelle, a really nice cheapie that came out in 2012. It was a powerhouse of a scent when first released but like almost everything released before 2015, I think it's since been reformulated.

I prefer milk chocolate with nothing added, or dark chocolate with orange or peppers. When I burst into tears about something random like the making of the Suez Canal my husband automatically brings chocolate home 😂 One of the local South Asian grocers has Cadbury UK bars, which have more milkfat than the Hershey version. That's my favorite besides Coffee Crisp and Aero. I usually avoid chocolate fragrance reviews because I'm not big on gourmand fragrances but I saw several on Al Rehab Choco Musk and wondered if you covered it because it sounds like a good stocking stuffer.

Angel muse the edt and edp were blind buys for me. And I was so upset at first because I got mostly the tart heavy opening and it was too much. Then…after a few months I went back to them and fell in love! I don’t love the first maybe 15 minutes but then I adore it. EDT is better to me. But yes, they are chewy! Haha! Didn’t think of them like that before. I used to loathe gourmands but love them now and I wear them frequently including chocolate scents.
