Watching old videos and I bought 007 off your recommendation. The second I sprayed it, it unlocked a memory from my childhood that had been long lost. It practically made me cry. It’s crazy how smells can immediately transport us. Just wanted to share and say thank you 💜

Paris Hilton Can Can... Rihanna Rebl Fleur..Coty Exclamation .. Lou Lou Cacheral.. Byzance by Rochas.. Lou Lou and Byzance used to be expensive I've worn them for 20 plus years .. their not as good as they once were but they still perform beautifully!! ✌🏼💯 Also Liz Claiborne is decent .. to my nose it's a tea scent.. Also Halston is a beast mode and you can get it at Walgreens for around 20

Such a fun video! I think I'm going to treat myself to "Still". The notes sound like they're right up my alley. I have two "cheapy" perfumes, in mind. One, I've been using since the 70's is Avon's Sweet Honesty. It's so light and sweet. I enjoy it when I'm hanging around the house, yet still want to smell yummy. Secondly, Alyssa Ashley's Musk Oil- which I used a lot when I lived in Puerto Rico (back in the late 80's). Have a great weekend. Thanks for all of the lovely videos.

I blind bought a few Elizabeth Taylor perfumes and was actually impressed. Violet Eyes is my favorite so far. I love your descriptive, beautifully worded style of speaking. You must read a lot.

Hahaha Desirade bottle looks like an alien mothership🤣. My favourite 'cheapies' are: Cerutti 1881, Chopard Casmir, Boucheron Jaipur bracelet, Boucheron Quatre and some Jenny Glow perfumes (wood&sage, velvet&oud) which are good dupes of Jo Malone and Jenny Glow Gaby (great dupe of Gabrielle but so nicely done, much fresher, I like it more than the original).
Yes, that Desiderade bottle will take us to outer space. 😆 Those are great cheapies. I would love to try the Jenny Glo version of Gabrielle. I had the essence version bug sold it. I loved it so much but only got 30 mins performance. Ugh. Thanks for watching! 💖

I love Guess by Marciano. It starts off smelling like a cotton candy’ish scent (not my preference) but it quickly dries down and settles into a richer scent.

Still by JLo reminds me of a GREAT summer in 2008. Such a compliment getter as I remember! I recently bought a bought with the non-cursive font and it wasn't as good as I remember, sadly. BUT... I'd love to get my hands on an older bottle because that scent is just everything!

I agree. The desirade bottle is ridiculous. I love that perfume. Not really the opening, but the dry down. The pineapple comes out and it's to die for.

I bought "Still" because of you. I've had it a few weeks now and I really like it. Smells more expensive than it is. And I also have and like the "White Diamonds Night" and "5th Avenue Royale". Both are such good value.

O0oo, great recommendations!! I'm excited to try some of these. 😺 I found Oscar De La Renta Esprit D'Oscar. It is a VERY powdery, warm, fragrance. I wore it once hanging out with a friend and she literally said to me "Why do you smell like a rich baby?" HAHAHA I was laughing my ass off! It does smell rich but I pictured a baby with a diamond necklace and Berkin and I lost it lol. 😂😂😂 But that one I found at Ross for $19.99. I has aged SOoo well, I've had it 4 years, I like it more now even. The liquid has turned a darker gold color, like amber, its so pretty and I wear it in the winter during the holidays i spray my turtlebecks and it so comfy and warm feeling. ❄️☃️ I love it for a few days of the year lol. I would wear it on a dream date to go ice skating in Central Park while it's snowing lightly or something haha. 🤭

Okay I have to tell you I bought Desirade out of curiosity and it smells like a hair salon in 1973 in a nice way. It's as though a group of ladies wearing Jean Nate and Emeraude have been sprayed with Aquanet. It makes me picture olive green tufted velvet seating rounds.

Lovely cheapie line up! I ordered Trussardi "Donna" EDT recently after a few people talked about how lovely it is. When I sprayed it the first time, I was surprised how it smells a lot like "Still" by JLo. Not sure if anyone else feels similarly, but I get the same impression from them. Both very pretty.

Raquel - Cabochard is a beast of a perfume. You are bold! I've had a bottle for a long long LONG time. It's very unique 👍👍👍
@@VeronicaSaysmost perfumes are too weak on me; I don’t smell them within a few minutes of spraying. But Cabochard works! Same with Opium, vintage Shalimar, The old Chanel’s, Tabu, Diva, Youth Dew Lol I guess vintage works!

I have some Lacoste perfumes in that order as well, so I’m super excited 😊 I haven’t tried many of the ones in this video, but I do have a sample of Still by Jennifer Lopez and I feel like my sister would like it more than I do. @@VeronicaSays 😍 I had a sample of the Lacoste pour femme legere, and it was one of those ones when you catch a whiff of it, you look around to see who smells so good! So I thought if I liked that, I’ll probably like the original Pour femme. They’re quite inexpensive so I got both 😆 As far as Still, it’s pleasant but it’s not a “love” for me. I’ll let you know what my sister thinks! So good to hear from you! ☺️

Hey there! Listen, for less than $10, there's no risk in picking up Cafe, even if you end up not liking it. I agree Sand & Sable does not smell as one might expect. And yes, Desirade is such a HORRID bottle design!!! 🤣🤣🤣 So glad you like Still! Such a simple lovely one! 💖💖💖

Hi Renee! I've never tried Cinema so I can't comment on it, unfortunately. Have you tried layering with a fragrance-free emollient cream?
@@VeronicaSays yes I have. Oil as well. It’s just one of those my body eats up but I love it. It’s a dry floral vanilla. Almost powdery in that it has a smooth feel to it. I will check the notes and compare and might wind up adding tocade to the never ending list😂. Thank you!
My favorite inexpensive perfume is Halloween and Halloween shot from the house of Jesus del pozo , a perfume house that don’t really get any attention is cheap and skin pleasant.

I appreciate affordable fragrances because I have a lot of females to buy for of different ages. One year I was broke and resorted to 3 for $9 at Rainbow for some young nieces who were thrilled.
Yes! They make great gifts. There are so many affordable gems out there to explore! Fragrances don't have to cost an arm and a leg.
@@VeronicaSays Several years ago TJ Maxx had a shipment of UR by Usher, 30ml for $6 and my niece loved it. Later I saw it and bought the last 6 bottles, fit them into a blue cookie tin, and the look on her face when she opened it was priceless.

Hello Ms Veronica. I am still plugging along with your many wonderful videos. This one I am so pleased to find, as with fixed income and economy it is a blessing to find these affordable fragrances in these times. I have found the Brittany Spears and love it. Also a very beautiful one by Mariah Carey called “M” and three by Elizabeth Arden - Pretty, Red Door and 5th Avenue (not royale). These fragrances are all so very nice and I am happy to now have a lovely little collection of perfumes. I wear a different one each day, but I must let you know that on the days I wear your recommended Tocade or Amarige are the days I get compliments on my perfume. I shall forever be grateful to have found your channel and the most appreciated advice and reviews you share.

YES! I'm glad to brought up 'M' by Mariah Carrey.....I got a bottle at Ross Dress for Less, a few months ago, and love it! You wouldn't guess it was a 'celebrity' scent, and supposedly, men go crazy for it .

Awww thank you! 💖🥰 No, I do not think Black Opium is like White Diamonds. Black Opium is heavy on the vanilla whereas White Diamonds is heavy on White florals.
Midnight Fantasy is THE blueberries pie scent. And a very good lasting on me! It would be fun if others brands try to make blueberries scents too.

Giorgio Red was my first grown up fragrance. I bought a bottle last year and it was awful. It’s been reformulated terribly. I will try Debut by Night to see what I think about it.
