    I cycle toured in Corsica 3 or 4 times in the 1970's and '80s and it has always been a special place for me so this video brought back wonderful memories particularly when I saw the beautiful church in Murato that I have passed by several times. Perhaps October is not the best month? I was always there in May to mid-June, leaving before the summer tourists invaded. I suspect that a lot has changed since I was there but I see that the Corsicans still block out highway signs that don't use the village names in the Corse language. Thanks so much for the video and I'm looking forward to seeing your travels in Sardinia.

      Really happy to hear that, Art! Yeah, our timing might have been off, but there was generally quite a lot of rain around that part of the Mediterranean this summer. And yes! It’s kind of funny and sad at the same time, the roadsign language being blocked out. Looking forward to showing you a very different journey around Sardinia.

    Hello...
    I have been watching a few of your videos lately and must say I am enjoying them very much.
    With that being said, could you possibly make a video showing what bike computer you use and how you put it thru its paces?
    I believe it is a Wahoo but would like to see how you use it to save maps and navigate as well as gather the needed info to track any given trip for that matter.
    Again, I am really enjoying your channel and plan on sticking around for a while so any specialty videos you offer are warmly welcomed here.
    Thanks for all the hard work you put into the creation of theses videos and keep up the good work!!!
    Blessings to both of you as you travel and document your trips for the rest of the world to see.

    Man that last hill almost killed me, lol. Unfortunately didn't get to finish it "completely" though as one section had a rally race going through it so bad to back track to Corte. Headed to Sardinia next though; for the Trans sardinia. Thanks again for the route, super stunning scenery!

      Glad to hear you rode it and are on track to Sardinia next! Hopefully the fences / gates situation is still the same on our retraced TranSardinia, since the original had so many of them blocking the way. But now should be a wonderful time to ride it.

    I am just catching up on your videos. Have loved them all. You two are great story tellers and have your book as well. Question for you, how do you like the Specialized Diverge’s with flat bars vs your prior drop bar bikes? Do you prefer the flat bars now, or could you see yourselves going back to the drop bar bikes down the road.
    Thanks for your thoughts on the matter and safe travels! Doug

    • @tristanbogaard
      @tristanbogaard  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Doug! Thanks for your compliments. Yes, personally speaking I really enjoy the flat bar, and Belén does too. But for city cycling (commuting + smaller trips) the drop bar has a lot of advantage due to its width. So I’d say we prefer flat for long trips but enjoy the privilege of having drop bars when they provide more comfort on a more urban trip, too. Hope this helps! And enjoy your day!

    • @tristanbogaard
      @tristanbogaard  Před 5 měsíci
