Imagine if they got serious and made a good HTTYD game.
-You find a dragon to tame with customization options, you can fly around on them with physics like this and can ALSO fight alongside them like in the first HTTYD console game.
-There is a racing minigame like this game, where completing each tournament in first gives you a racepaint option.
-There IS a story mode, and an online mode.
-You can collect food for your dragons in a minigame like in Wild Skies
-Night Fury dragons are not a pay-to-win thing, they are rare, but can be tamed and customized.
-There are several minigames with the main dragon riders and side characters that can be played during specific quests.
(Just some ideas. I know it's not gonna happen, but it would be awesome if they combined all the good elements of past games and made something amazing.)
School of dragons would be like that if it wasn't pay to enjoy :/

A little late to the party buuut have you seen HTTYD the game? It has fighting and follows an awesome story, there are minigames that let you fly and also flame things such as targets and ice. Honestly a great game and I'm disappointed more people don't know about it. It even lets you customize color and parts of your dragon!
The closest thing I ever made was a half assed httyd pokemon rom hack but I feel ya, creating 3d games is a bit too much for a single person but a pixel arty game should be somewhat feasible... maybe one day
This game may be boring after a while, but it gives me a slightly feeling of freedom. Like being able to fly wherever I want.
if you mod it you can even go out of bounds and fly forever lol

This game was a little boring- loved the graphics and models but was honestly underwhelmed when I first played it....
The first game was amazing!
I loved that you could customize your dragons and that you could fight.
The free roam as a human was cool too and I really liked the food gathering and mini games.
If only they'd make a merged version of these game similar to how 'school of dragons' or 'wild skies' would work but with more effort put into it.
I agree, I adored the first game because it had customizable dragons and really nice music. So playing this game was real disapointing because you couldn't get off your dragon or do any gameplay story related.... an updated version of wild skies would look amazing on the PS4 and there are so many dragon species now they could incorporate to tame them

I have great idea. A game about httyd that you have berk as home, play as different characters like hiccup, astrid etc. You're able to defeat enemies such as drago or the Red Death, you can attack dragon trappers and if you dive with toothless you hear his diving sound and you can blast ships into splinters etc.
