I’m looking to get the 60d to start making films. After having it for so long how do you feel about the fan noise? I love amaran, but I I’m worried about fan noise being too audible in my films.
Depends on how close your mic is. Also in davinci, there is a voice isolation that works very well. It can remove back ground noise. If you are still worried, get the 100D. my entire channel is still running on 2 100D.
@@asfilmspl 60D will do it no problem but I would go with the 100D for future proofing but 60D should be fine. With my 100D I am only using 30% brightness most of the time.

I noticed you have a vertical led light direct behind you (between your back and the wall). What exactly is the purpose of that light? The light basically is softening up my scene when it appears. I have a pro black mist filter on my lens so once light touches it, my set looks diffuse. I am erasing off all the sharp digital look and keeping the scene interesting.

This may be your option when your running and gunning. I recently light a house about 15 meters away. Worked crazy good. Just make sure you check the system after 1 hour. Mines got very warm and its winter time now. Maybe summer might be different story.

100D. However if you are running and gunning a lot, I usually take the 60D because its light and compact. I light an entire scene on a roof with just the 60D and it was very useful while a 100D would require a ton of attachments.
I don't want to have to buy a mobile phone to use a light. I wont do it. Mobile phones are... of no importance to me. LOL buying a 1200$ phone to use a 120$ light... go away now.

It is a tight fit. The part that gets me is the noise. I shiver every time but it will fit and its portable.
you might be able use a razor and cut slightly bigger opening? Wont have as clean of a look though

60 D , I did that recently. It was fun with the battery pack. Im not a buff guy but it wasnt heavy either
The Amaran 60d seems a better size for travel. But are you really concerned about leaving it on for more than 1hr? That is concerning.
