Wow, I found your channel years back. As I have a much "smaller" label I created. So I'm always looking for inspiration from other labels. You definitely have your processes nailed to a science. I can relate to all your woes with the tape rack and gear. The "technical jargon" was good as well. I never thought about the headphone amp as a splitter for the other units. I built up a collection of Tascam 322's, to be used for a potential rack. However, at the same time I collected tape duplicators. So depending on the project, I have options. You've definitely inspired more artsy ideas, besides just a couple of stickers. I've only recently been "re-inspired" to focus on the label again. As a lot of peeps have no desire for cassettes. I very much enjoy the process of creating tapes, even if for my own collection. The fact that you offer vinyl, tells me that your doing some good numbers. Anyways, I always enjoy your content. I really dug this VLOG, and have a question for a future VLOG topic: when you are building a mix, how do you determine selecting sound bites (vocal tracks from movies/commercials/samples) that fit well within an overall mix? You make it sound easy, but I know from some experience that there is A LOT of vision, trial, and error that must go into building these tracks. Thanks!

A lot of the inspiration for the label came from other labels - ones like Inner Ocean and Mt. Fuji Tapes. I just thought it would be cool to have a community and some concrete products to support the genre rather than just a place to post my songs.

It might be difficult to film, but I'd love to learn more about the finance/accounting side of the job. It's probably the barrier to most people taking their art into the commercial world, just the fear and confusion of how to make your art business 'legit' is always a big terrifying question mark in people's minds.
