    The Tunstead to Dairycoates aggregate workings of April 2021 brought the first use of class 70's on revenue earning trains to Hull.
    The footage showing the train setting back at Hull Dairycoates was taken from the A63 slip-road - this once wonderful location is now covered with vegetation - for an earlier view copy and paste or follow the link;

    Footage includes class 66's on the Masborough to Hull Steel Terminal coils and Gypsum workings from Hull Coal Terminal (Kingston Bulk Terminal).

    Nice footage Tony. I do like the 70s. They sound good and are very claggy. I suppose these trains are served by Rylstone now. (although still Tarmac so I suppose it's whatever the customer requires)

      Thanks Ben. Unfortunately they only ran for a few weeks and some were 66 hauled. These were in addition to the Rylstone workings so not entirely sure of the purpose.
      Really enjoyed your GBRf hour long epic last week - great pics at the intro - I usually watch on the tv though (with a beer), so can't comment at the time - then usually forget!! - keep up the good work.
