No question good research is paramount in increasing odds. There is a creek nearby here in austin that leads into a river I am going to check out. Great finds
I am new to your channel! I love how you write what is happening as it happens. I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for sharing. I am now subscribed and looking forward to future videos!!
Come down to south florida, the water is still in the 80s.I was detecting in the wet sand today.I have some great spots to dive and detect, big tourist spots.
That norka bottle you found is very nice. That pop was made right here my home town. Norka is Akron spelled backwards. Not sure how old the bottle is you found but they were around from the teens all the way up to the sixties. HH
I really REALLY wanna know the story behind those hearts. The teeth cracked me up. That poor person ate mush for a long while after that outting, I bet. haha
+Todd Irvine I use GE II silicone to insulate the battery seal. The O ring by itself has given lots of people leaking issues. I try to keep it 8-12 feet. If I go much deeper, I will take the Exal.
+Jethro Carpenter I went to their website and read about the different Quest detectors. If I am sent one to field test, I will do a comparison video. I have reached out to the company.
Great & very strange finds. So, the story goes, a boxer caught his lady cheating, knocked out the guys teeth, the girl found his boxing gift tossed it then he tossed the chains. The End lol
+hjelkrem79 The CTX and Excal are great in the salt water but the trade off is you won't hear the "micro gold" jewelry. My 18kHz land detector will hear it but it won't work in salt water.
+Josh Straughn They are occasionally in the North East and I've seen some big shadows come and go quickly but they don't want to bother with us big bubble blowing creatures....
Always great watching the diving videos, can't get enough!
For some reason , my ctx hits thin chains down here in South Florida. I actually am quite surprised every time. Great finds!
this is some of the coolest videos on CZcams, under water metal detecting is so relaxing to me and fun , cheers for the videos.

Nice haul there Carter. Congrats on your SLQ, Washington, boxing medallion, and 14KT gold necklace. WTG😉
Great last of the season hunt, looking forward to your next video.
That looks amazing. Must be the most tranquilizing way of detecting :-) Nice eyeballing that necklaze! Subbed!

Super sortie 👍
I won't take my CTX in the water. Too many have drowned. I use an excal for water hunting.
I say B) 2:12 the were joyfully holding hands,while doing back flips.together.
Hi did you have to modify the ctx any to go to 3 meters and have you had it slightly deeper. and feedback appreciated.
+Todd Irvine I use GE II silicone to insulate the battery seal. The O ring by itself has given lots of people leaking issues. I try to keep it 8-12 feet. If I go much deeper, I will take the Exal.
+DetectorComparisons thanks for the info much appreciated.
Thats awesome
nice hunt! smile=)
super video!!
Nice dive
Will you be testing the new Deteknix under water and land machines?
+Jethro Carpenter I went to their website and read about the different Quest detectors. If I am sent one to field test, I will do a comparison video. I have reached out to the company.
wow wait a minute you found both sides of that heart chain? Come on man, ha!
+James Stockbauer Must have been a lovers spat of some sort since they were in feet of each other!!
what kinde of metaldetector you are using?
what were the names on the chains? if you still have them maybe i can try to find the owners??
+Fallen Angel - good idea but unfortunately each half just had the first names inscribed "Jackelyn & Yovanni".
At what depth are you diving and how are you getting 3 hours out of a tank?
+GiltronTheOne Slow breathing with a 120 steel tank at 10' to 15' deep will get give you a lot of hunting time.
Great & very strange finds. So, the story goes, a boxer caught his lady cheating, knocked out the guys teeth, the girl found his boxing gift tossed it then he tossed the chains. The End lol
+Jenial B. Sounds like a movie in the making to me!!!
;-)
lucky!!
I have the same problem with y ctx3030. Does not reed Gold. Wtf?
+hjelkrem79 The CTX and Excal are great in the salt water but the trade off is you won't hear the "micro gold" jewelry. My 18kHz land detector will hear it but it won't work in salt water.
@@DetectorComparisons why it wont work in salt water? I try to understan why most detectors can not find gold chain in salt water
WHICH METAL DETECTOR IS THAT ONE?
Muh teef!!!
Reckon its made from "gummetal?
I bet a couple broke up and gave the ex back the half heart necklace, and he/she threw them both in the water together. .
Ever run across sharks or alligators?
They don't want to bother with us, we just see shadows from time to time..
I THINK THAT BOXING METAL WAS JIMMIE HOFFA'S ______________________????
lol nice grills man hah
Don't you get concerned with the Great White activity in that area? You could be a snack! :-)
+Josh Straughn They are occasionally in the North East and I've seen some big shadows come and go quickly but they don't want to bother with us big bubble blowing creatures....
Great hunt, awesome video!! Thanks for sharing.
