I can't believe it ..I have owned this Halo for a couple of years & I only ever use it to charge my devices..Today I had a dead battery & there was no one around to give me a jump start.. As it turns out didn't need anybody's help I did it myself following your easy to understand instructions.. .Thank You. My car (6 years old, original battery) was dead as a doornail. My fault, it got down to -25 last night abd I didn't go out and let it run during that time. Anyway, I got my Bolt and hooked it up (first time I ever tried jumping a car), got in the car, turned the key, and it started right up. Like magic. This thing is worth its weight in gold.
Your battery was low not Dead. If your battery was completely 100% dead you would have no bells and whistles or lights. The Halo bolt works great with batteries that are not 100% dead. I just tried to start one and my halo bolt did absolutely nothing and it was fully charged. I connected the battery with a set of jumper cables to another battery and the car turned over twice and started right up. The Halo bolt is good if your battery isn't totally dead.
