I'm just discovering Karen and I find her fascinating and reasonable. I am definitely going to be checking out more of her work.
This woman Karen Armstrong is just BRILLIANT
sensitive truth, truth full,justice full,humble and a wonder full mind and soul that should be listen to and learned from in this dark world we are living in.

There is a lot of contradiction in Kuran. Contradiction in Kuran should be discussed to open the potential radical's eyes . examples of contradictions 1. Kafirun sure 109.6 (For you is your religion For me is my religion) 2. Ali Imran sure 85, (And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam (Submission to Allah), it shall not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the losers.) 3. Nisa sure 89 (They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so u would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah . But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.)
Lettle knowledge cause harm, Qur'an is zero (0) contradiction read carefully dont listen to other who tell lies...

Jacob Russell Rationality, logic and science are not definitive by a LONG shot, and they fall very short in answering the huge questions in life and giving direction

firehand1011 Too extreme by far for me. Religion is just like philosophy. Some are interesting and I won't reject any form of human study because they all have something worthwhile if you know where to look. There is no one rule for what makes a "self respecting person". I won't reject any tool.
Jacob Russell That is an interesting approach. I guess at the end of the day I have to say I'm a Nietzschean: by taking your approach and looking at each system as a philosophy, Ive concluded religion (christianity in particular) is counter productive to a full life on earth...
