Best of luck with that. You don't get to choose to no longer be honesexual as sexuality is not a choice. You can choose to be celibate but can't choose who you're attracted to. Also the word homosexual was never in the Bible until 1948 when a group of white men translated "sexual perversion" into the word "homosexual", it's since been added to the Bible a few more times in the 1990's. If sin is a choice and sexuality I'd not a choice then sexuality is not a sin. I pray you don't get too far into the rabbit hole of man's brainwashing of man telling you want God wants...because man is flawed.
Someday you will realize the truth and do your research on the word "homosexuality" in the Bible. I wish you all the best. It is possible to honor God and love a man. God is love after all. I played this for him, I prayed with him. I believe that he was saved. He was older than me he died at the age of 55. When I hear this I think of my brother Joey and how merciful Christ is. 😎

This song means a lot to me. About 6 months ago I considered myself an agnostic. I believed there was a higher power potentially, but wasn't religious and didn't believe in organized religion. I was also extremely depressed and struggled with demons of previous needs I had done. I was in a very dark place contemplating suicide. I had planned out how I would do it. I knew what messages I would leave to loved ones. On one of my lowest days, only a day or two out from proceeding with my plan, my stepmom called me from work. To preface, she never calls and at that point we really didn't talk much throughout the week, but she knew something was wrong. I ended up breaking down to her and not only telling her I wanted to kill myself but why. She had free therapy sessions through her work she set me up with. She also attended a Methodist church. Now, she didn't ever ask me to go or tell me. The invitation was always open. So, a couple of weeks go by and a couple of therapy sessions. I also during this time got on anti-depressants, but was still lost. I decided to go to church one Sunday. At her church, they start with a band and this was one of the songs they played. It spoke so much to me I nearly cried right there. It said everything I needed to hear. Plus, I knew it wasn't a coincidence all the things that were going on in my life. I can now say I'm a firm believer in Christ and this song is one of the reasons why. Don't ignore God when he's trying to talk to you. Don't write off things as coincidences. Try to see the big picture of things. Especially when youre in your darkest hour. That's when He speaks the most. Sometimes its subtle sometimes it's overt. He does anything to get your attention, but you have to recognize it.

I've heard this song many times but it never really hit home until my son passed away on December 20, 2021. My heart has pain that I never felt before, but I am confident that he is in Heaven knowing Christ as his Savior. He was blind, on dialysis, heart problems and on and on. He used to say, "Mom don't cry when I go. The first thing I will see after 7 years of being blind, will be Jesus' face. Thank you Lord for taking my son and making him whole, but oh how I miss him.

And as a part of this molding process we repent, rebuke our sins, and let God lead. We give up our will, deny our sinful flesh and accept his will as revealed to us in scripture.

As lost in sin as I was (still am, I won’t pretend I don’t sin), the words “come find your mercy, o’ Sinner come kneel” and “o’ Wanderer come home, you’re not too far” just made me cry. I reached a breaking point in my sins and in trying to find the love for Jesus I once had. This song broke me, but in a good way.

Keep your faith strong always
Even though I've been a Christian my whole life, I was broken and depressed from a horrible break up earlier this year that crushed my faith and I thought that God wouldn't help me even if I prayed for him to strengthen me, so I gave up. That's when things got worse for me. My friends turned on me. My family got so concerned. It was whenever I heard this song I had started bawling my eyes out and turned back to the Lord because I heard him calling me. I started going back to Church, playing baseball again, uploading CZcams videos again, and hanging with my friends. My faith in Christ had come back with the help of this song and many other people and things in my life. I just feel so blessed to be back in Christ's love.

Congrats on your sobriety young man! I’m proud of you and so is god he’s proud you found the right path now. He has kept me on the right path for 9 years now from drugs, then almost 7 months from alcohol as well! He will stand by your side through all trials whether you see him or not just have faith and trust in him, a wise person told me to never say “But god why did you do this?” to everything that has gone wrong and study the story of Job in the Bible you will learn a lot.
You are so right if we can't carry ourselves at times he will!!! He will answer our prayers always and even if we don't pray he is there for us always. He and God have pure perfect love and that's in all of us through his Holy Spirit!!

Needed to hear this! I once was a devoted follower of Jesus. But with the worries of this world and my sinful desires, I slowly slipped away. It hasn't been until recently that I realized how far I had slipped. I've felt hopeless , like I can't come home. Be strong in the Lord, my wife disappeared for 29, years, leaving me to raise two children on my own. But I was never alone and the hidden blessing was that my children were sheltered from seeing the devastation that a sin ridden life. A few months after I lost my BEST friend to suicide, we saw Crowder live in concert and this song had me breaking down into tears. I felt her and the spirit of GOD ! We had the chance to talk to his wife and wrote our experience for her to share to him ❣️
You did not feel your dead best friend at a Crowder concert. It disturbs me you got so many likes and yet zero so-called Christians correcting you. Read your Bible instead of listening to whatever woo woo witchcraft you've been listening to. When we die, we have no connection to this world at all. It's literally spiritualism to think otherwise. God has been creeping into my life, particularly over the last year. I was raised on neutral grounds, grew up neutral but with an open curiosity of what else could be. After a rough military experience, this is the first Christian songs to really hit home for me. Add the rest of the "life" we're all experiencing... Before... I could recognize a Christian song just by listening to the intro and honestly would quickly change the channel... I was one of those who would say... "God is for the weak"... but now I'm finding so much strength and fortitude in confiding in Him. It's a growing love and confidence. Our bond grows every day. All the bs. Spill it all out. He is listening. Stay pure in your thoughts and intentions.

Everything went downhill, my grandfather died, my grandmother died, my mother went to jail for drugs, but to this day, I haven't given up on God. Life is a test for heaven. I cry every time, I needed this today, I got the covid vaccine and have been scared it has effected my ability to spiritually connect, for some reason I have felt funny on that level and I have not been able to like i was before if that makes sense? Infact immediately that night of getting second one I was sick as a dog and felt spiritually hollow. But this proves I I still have god in my heart and now feel renewed.

"Redicating your life to Jesus" is not biblical. You mightve actually got saved this second time, but the way preachers do nowadays is not biblical, walk up to the front, say a prayer, really mean the prayer and ask jesus into your heart, and then go and live and act like the world for the next 5 years and then come back to church, and tell the preacher you wanna do better and "rededicate" your life. Thats not how it works. 1 John 3: 8-10 cannot keep practicing sinning. Yes youll mess up at times but cant dwell in unrepentant sin and and not make Jesus Lord and Boss of your life .

I've lost my whole town to fire(Paradise, CA), 57 family members, friends, neighbors, etc. I have been homeless twice, been through betrayal and treated shamefully by my church and now I am looking at brain surgery to remove a tumor. Through it all he was there! Through it all he carried me through the darkness and despair! So many took their own lives or died of cancer due to exposure and such, but he has kept me alive through it all! Only through him could anyone carry such a horrific burden without resorting to drugs or alcohol or some other means of escape. Lay down your burdens before Jesus!

my testimony is this, I was in a really dark place in my life and was hopeless. I was getting in trouble with the law, drugs, things my family would not approve of. I was raised in a family where we were brought up in a church home. My grandfather led that. My parents were not really the church-going type especially my dad he was catholic. I found my peace in God many years ago but ended up slipping. several years later, God placed a woman in my life who is devoted to Jesus. We now often study together now more than ever and improving our marriage or re-imagining it. God is good! I have been baptized in a southern Baptist church here where we live. 'COME as you are" means it doesn't matter what you look like, feel, what you've done. you ask for forgiveness, and you will be forgiven. it will be long gone, when you die out of the flesh, in the book of life, what you did will be no more. God has given me beautiful family, beautiful wife. I nearly took it for granted but i came to him to help me. He has never stopped and he wont and he will do the same for you! TO God be the glory! Nate Canson I found His rest when I understood How much He loves me. cliche I know. Let me explain. for the better part of my life I was trying to find who God really was. but everywhere I go everybody had a prospective and a translation to back it up. most of the time I was being condemned. and I could still never find the answer. if you were to ask me before I was ready to pull the trigger, I would have answered that God would never love someone like me because I am such a horrible person and will never meet His standards. then my wife walked in and talked to me. and showed me that I was already accepted. that I was made in image. every breath i take i say his name Yahweh (in greek is a breath of air). We are in His bloodline. Christ literally took care of everything so you can rest in Him. Hebrews 8:12 says for your sins and wickedness I will remember no more. or identity is no longer Sin. our identity is Him within us. I've spent many years trying to find the truth. and I wish somebody would have told me a long time ago that if I searched His love for me it would have revealed itself, and then I would have found Rest. you have been bought and paid for, IT IS FINISHED. you are His and theres no going back. That is the good news.

Didn’t know this song existed until I just heard it on the radio. Very beautiful and comforting for someone who has fallen and fallen harder than I’ve ever experienced. “Come as you are” is a powerful truth that I find hard to swallow but I know it’s the truth. He doesn’t care how far I’ve fallen or has far I’ve ran or where I’ve gone to hide away from Him; He simply just wants me to come to Him as I am, completely and utterly a sinful mess of horrible choices and issues and yet I know He views me differently even in a fallen state. It’s not been easy coming up from this fall but each day I am receiving more hope and grace as I get back up again. I don’t know what my future will look like from here on out but at least I still have God and He still wants me. I so pray to overcome this fall and all of the issues I really need to bring before God to be be dealt with once and for all.

Yeshua Is The Only Way
Last night in Sydney I was at a performance of Crowder and whilst I would have liked to turn down the volume a few decibels (I’m 75 ! ) I was amazed at the talent not to mention the wonderful words and music. The words here brought me to tears - so true and nothing changes, Gods love is for real, His love is so great and He has Jesus living in our hearts every moment. Just turn to Him and you’ll feel it. Thank you Crowder for using your talents to reach us.
