I love how you use the same meal to show different techniques! Most videos use different meals for each technique.
Thank you for the feedback!
I didn’t even realize they were the same meal!
That's because those techniques aren't universal in application. This is just to show their variety. And being able to plate the same dish differently takes a lot of skill. They say you gotta learn the rules before you bend them.
Wow they all looked so different, I didn't even realize they were the same lol
Exactly I almost never see that with plating guide videos
I love this music!

맛있겠다
Amazing!!!😍
Thank you! 😄
Excellent ideas! One question: doesn’t at the end of plating the dish get cold?
Good question. Restaurants have a way of dealing with this. First off, when you're plating hundreds of times a day, you get very fast at doing it. Secondly, the plates are warmed. I highly recommend this for home! And third, if this dish isn't immediately taken to the customer, it will be under a warmer.
WebstaurantStore 👍🏼
No because we have heat lamps
Wow
Awesome video
Thank you!

How do you get all of this done and delivered to the table before the food gets cold?

Can we use real leaves like rose , jasmine leaves for decoration of plating if my recipe made with these flowers ? Please reply.
Edible flowers and leaves that are commonly used to make the plate look beautiful. If it looks good, try it!

Hello, the names of the techniques used are labeled right before we show them in the video!

As long as it only available to your students and not the general public, please feel free to do that! :)
Thank you so much 😊
Much better than buzzfeed
Thank you!
@@Webstaurantstore Seriously, Buzzfeed uses tropes. Here it presents more dynamic qnd captivating plating that isn't trite.
What's that garnish on the free from?
It's been a long time since we made this video, but I believe those are lightly breaded and fried onions. Thanks for watching!
What garnish are you using?
This was shot years ago, but I believe those were fried fennel.
Can you tell me please, the garnish, is that grated parsnip? 🤔
That is fried fennel shavings.
@@Webstaurantstore thank-you! 🙂
How to keep food warm on plate when plating?
If you're preparing various dishes with different cooking times, a helpful strategy is to maintain their warmth by placing them in a preheated oven set to 200 to 250°F. Typically, most hot foods can be successfully held in this manner for about 15 to 20 minutes. However, for extended periods, it's crucial to monitor the temperature regularly using a food thermometer to ensure that it remains at 140°F or above. If needed, make adjustments to the oven temperature by setting it higher.
what kind of garnish is used for toping

Did you sell book for food plating?
We have lots of restaurant education books, unfortunately, plating is not one. There are many others here though: www.webstaurantstore.com/2763/educational-books.html
WebstaurantStore from where?
I'm sorry, but I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. The link is to our site. If you were interested in any of those books, you can buy them from us. We are located in the USA.
Does anyone know what the garnish is? Tyia
I believe they were fried leeks, but I am not 100% sure my memory is correct. Lots of fried veggies will work!
What’s the garnish? Is it potato strips?
It's been some time since we recorded this, but we believe it was fennel that was fried.
