I completely agree that this takes the mystery and mess out of using the core program. Thank you!!!!!!!

Reviewing again. Is tier 2 special education or general eds?

I presume this is for schools that don't have a Reading Center Teacher? In my district, classroom teachers do T1 & T2 in the classroom, then the RCT pulls students and offers more T2 and does T3. Our T2 students get 2x the intervention, in classroom small groups and with the RTC when they're pulled 2x per wk. So my question is, in your videos, are you coaching on the assumption the class teacher does all stages of RTI in her classroom? Is my school district doing their own thing and redefining RTI?
The RTI/MTSS model can be followed with teacher and school support. Collaboration time and scheduling become major factors in pulling students. But, it can be done! We’ve seen teachers follow the model in this video and we have seen teams. It just requires data to be analyzed by the team of teachers to make decisions on what the students need.
