Thank you for this. I just called a shop and they said this would cost me between $400/$500 to change this.

Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Helpful, informative and not at all painful to watch or listen to.

Question, if the oil pressure switch isnt working, would that cause the van to go into "limp home mode" where it minimizes shifting?

Hello... Other day i had check engine light came on..checked and showed code p06dd .. but I had another thing happened which I noticed is that normally on highway going 100 km /hr my rpm were around 1600 and after the engine light and code they are sitting around 2200 ...can that oil pressure make the rpm affected by it.. ?? Any suggestions will be appreciated

What is the torque spec for the new switch? I tried doing it w/o removing the battery but I didn't have an adequate view. To install, start it by hand (per your suggestion) and then push on the socket with a short extension while rotating. I have an ext that was welded and therefore is NOT straight. That helped.

I have a 2013 T&C. I have the P06DD Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Stuck Off code. Do you know what your code was? By the way, great video!

Nice video. Thank you. I added some Lucas to a oil change about 300 miles ago. Could that be my problem. Would I just need to change my oil, (without an additive)?

I used a 27mm but could not remove it. The black water hose is too close and didn’t want to force it.

Is this same parts as the caravan 2014 dodge?

I attempted this but I can’t seem to get the socket all the way over the sensor to take it out.
It seems like something is blocking the socket and I can hand spin it.
Not sure what I am doing wrong.

You need to use a "sensor socket" if you aren't already. The sensor socket is open on the inside allowing the plastic portion of the sensor to go all the way into the socket. Normal sockets will NOT go all the way on.

Thank you. My issue was that the sensor socket I had was too long and it was hitting the block.
I swapped it out for the shorter one and it went right on.

Does anyone know what hose is that right next to the oil pressure sensor

It's a coolant line. It goes to the oil filter assembly. Basically holds your oil filter and oil cooler.
