    Hi! I've never been this excited to share a travel vlog! It's my first time traveling solo as a joiner to an off-the-beaten-path that is #Balabac Island, Palawan.
    I can hardly put into words how much I feel about this trip. NGL, I've been anxious about this but it turned out alright :)
    Thank you so much ‪@thewanderwalkers4524‬ for a hassle-free, laidback, and super fun trip | IG: @balabacpalawan | balabac.ph/
    I wouldn't have done it any other way.

    Hi @chichidoo!! tbh idk where you're coming from with your question but taking it all from my own experience in 2022, i never noticed nor felt they were biased 'sa mga puti'.
    I'm breaking down our group for that tour as I write so here goes:
    1 pinoy solo joiner (me)
    2 foreigners or what i believe u refer to as 'mga puti'
    4 pinoys who were magkabarkada
    2 pinoys who were a couple
    We were a total of 9 pax for that trip since meron nag cancel last minute due to COVID iirc
    anyway, sa 4D3N na yun I never felt any manifestation of 'bias sa mga puti'.
    We all ate the same food(super good btw!! huhu), bathed in the same makeshift toilet, slept in the same tents and/or hammocks, enjoyed the same ocean, breathed the same air, braced the same rough seas(!!), endured one mini passing storm at Onuk, and soooo much more 🥹
    I guess what I'm trying to say is every group tour is different and whether there are 'mga puti' in the group or not, you will get what you pay for.
    And based on my experience, wanderwalkers being biased sa mga puti, never even crossed my mind the whole time.
    PS. I'm missing Balabac a bit extra because of this comment!!
    Safe travels po! 🌸🇵🇭

    Hello, very nice and informative video. I see that you booked thru wander walker. Can I ask if you ended up staying in the hut or the campsite area? How was it? Also, was there a lot of sand flies? Going there using wander walker in March. Thanks you so much.

    • @bellicasingzon
      @bellicasingzon  Před rokem +1

      Hello @KAREN Ayla. Thank you for your kind words! ☺️ Yes, I booked with Wanderwalkers and I stayed at the campsite area. I slept in the tent on my first night but it was too hot inside probably because of the humidity at that time. For the remaining nights, I was offered a hammock (with built-in net to protect you from sand flies while you sleep/lounge) I could sleep in and it was waaaay more comfortable than the tent :)
      I'm so excited for you to go in March since it'll be almost summer by then! Lastly, regarding the sand flies, there were a lot of them especially in the campsite so do not take them lightly and make sure to bring an effective insect repellant. If you ever get bit, just make sure to apply meds/cream so it doesn't get as itchy as it is when left unmedicated. Tea tree oil was one remedy that worked best for me for my sand fly bites! Enjoy your trip and safe travels! 💖

      Hiiii certainly no stable internet connection po in Balabac. Others have functional mobile data on Onuk Island. There is very limited signal in Punta Sebaring where the camp is. I was able to use Smart 5G but limited to messenger lang. Hehe

    Hi, do you know if DIY trip to Balabac can be done at this time or do you have to book with a tour guide group to get there? Once in Balabac can I just join a touring group?

    • @bellicasingzon
      @bellicasingzon  Před rokem

      Hello Vino Lbt! As far as I know, DIY trip to Balabac is possible. However, I recommend organized joiner or private trips considering transportation fees and entrance fees to the islands around Balabac.

      I see, thanks for your reply. I read reviews that they were racist to pinoys. Like may kulang na life vests, and they prioritized the foreigners, leaving a pinoy paying customer without a vest. But when they realized one of their foreign customers was not on the boat yet, they borrowed vests from another boat to accommodate the foreigner and eventually the local. Also may shortage daw ng utensils so they didn’t give the pinoy spoon and fork and assumed that he will eat with his bare hands instead. Also putting the pinoys in an uglier van. I saw this on TripAdvisor so I’m asking just to check kung ugali ng wanderwalkers mang echepwera ng kapwa pinoy kapag may western foreigner.
