You're 10 years old at the beginning of 5th grade. You're 14 at the beginning of 9th grade. The thought of a 5th grader and a freshman in high school competing against each other is absolutely insane.
that's exactly the math i was doing! remembering myself in 5th grade vs me going into high school. 5th grade me shouldn't have even shown up. that's crazy!
I currently have a 10 year old and a 14 year old and the difference is staggering.

I can’t stress this enough, you need Mike O’Malley for a warehouse games series.
So, in reference to that comment "is this the same exact events as the last one we watched?" So of course for production purposes they would film multiple episodes (I think four?) with the same events to minimize teardown and setup while maximizing episodes filmed. The problem is for some reason Paramount+ has the episodes in PRODUCTION order rather than in AIRING order, so while they mixed up the airing order in first-run to make it not the same thing four episodes in a row, Paramount+ has made it so that if you're watching the episodes in order it's four in a row of the same stuff. If you guys don't want that I'd suggest either looking up the airing order that DOES exist somewhere out there or just watching a random episode each time.
Fun fact; Backstreet Boy AJ McLean was once on an episode! He wore blue, went by AJ “Mean” McLean, and I think he came in second place.

I think Tony hurt his leg when he wiped out on the gravity boots. He stood up weird after the air bag 12:37 and was limping on the way to his soccer net 15:00 .

The funny thing is that, from 10-14, age differences are bigger than gender differences.
There are probably a lot of athletic Patti Mayonnaise types from 10-14 years old all over schools everywhere.
The main "injustice" (it's actually biology, but some people think biology is an injustice) is that puberty enhances men's performance while puberty betray's a woman's performance.
If Guts wanted to have a fair competition, all 3 contestants would be of same age (and gender when puberty kicks in, so 10-12 would be in a single unisex division, while 13-15 would be in segregated gender divisions)

Tony started the race and the obstacle course on pace to win and just completely threw them in the end.
Tony wasn't ever gonna beat legendary Gina in the obstacle course. When he went high in the jungle he couldn't even beat the slow witted Jeremy.
Jeremy played lacrosse in college and got expelled for plagiarism in English lit and selling HGH on campus.
