thanks for the video, very useful .... do you own the product now?? very little was mentioned at the end about google assistant. i'd like to know if it works just like other built-in google assistant products that "wake up" to the "ok google" command and if i could use it as a speaker to stream music in a multiroom group, thanks to you or anyone with an answer to this
Is there a way to shut off the wifi light if you don't want to connect via wifi. Hoping the light won't just keep blinking.

I've read some reviews saying that it plays sound during the entire wake-up sequence? Does it really do that? I'd wake up immediately from the sound and the light would be useless.
No you can change it so it does it at the time u want
@@AngelaBronson same thing almost but ive read reviews that it plays sound and you cant change it at the time of sleeping i.e. when you go to sleep and the light dims, sound will undoubtedly play and you cant change it. Looking to buy it wouls appreciate an answer and honest review if you had the time.

Hi Misty, thank you for your kind feedback! In order to pair the alarm clock with Alexa, you first need to add it to the Smart Life app. Once you do that, then you add the "Smart Life" skill to Alexa and once that skill is added, Alexa will search for smart devices that you added to the Smart Life app. At that point it should find the alarm clock and pair with it.

How do I factory reset the clock? I had been using the clock for about 2 months at the beginning of the year, it was working perfectly fine including the app and everything. Then we went into quarantine and I stopped using it for a couple months, then I moved and it was in a box for a while. I decided to start using it again the other day, so I plugged it in and opened the app on my phone. It said it was connected on my phone, but when I clicked buttons on the app, it didn't do anything to the clock. I tried playing around with it a little more, and eventually found a thing on the app that said "forget device" (or something like that). I clicked this and it had two options, "forget device" or "forget device and wipe all information". I did the "forget device and wipe all information" in the hopes it would factory reset the clock and I could just start fresh. Unfortunately, all that happened was it disconnected the clock from my smart life app. The clock still has a blinking wifi symbol, but when I try to connect to it again in the smart life app, it says I can't connect, like there are no devices to connect to. I would just like to factory reset the thing and start fresh.

Does anyone know how to get the wifi blinking indicator to come back if it goes away? I cant get it to connect to a new wifi network now that I've moved...

But how do you program the radio station it’s super unclear and really no instructions to do so
To be honest, I don't use the radio function. I just tried it out and it seems that you need to use the app to program the stations. It also seems that it will auto program the stations to 16 presets. I can't find a way to tell it which stations I want in the program. I am continuing to look into it further but so far that's what I can see.
What annoys me is you can't sample the alarm sounds before you set them

I just tried this out in the app and you are correct. Seems like an app bug that needs to be updated.
@@ProjectRamos Yeah.. lots of bugs in this product. SHame on me for cheaping out on this clock... it really is rough around the edges and its main function doesn't work all that well.

You do need wifi to be able to control the alarm clock with the smartphone app.
