Some tips from an early access player (1) When dueling watch what your opponents are doing and try to capitalize on their mistakes. EG Not moving out of AoE attacks or not dodging the right way for certain attacks. Don't worry too much about sucking at it at first , with practice you'll get better! (2) Not sure if the American servers have this yet but there is extra buttons that show up on the echos screen that allow you to reroll your card bonuses as well as being able to convert echoes into echo crystals (3) Explore Hogwarts and the grounds to the full. Fly up high and explore through all the trees. There are a ton of Chests and pots that award you gems and gold. Both in Hogwarts , on the grounds of hogwarts and in the shops in Diagon Alley. If your wanting a good video on it Harry Potter Magic Awakened YT channel have a few good videos on it. Every time they update the game go search for some again. Look everywhere but don't forget that if you see a NPC that's in an unusal place for them talk to them as they may give you a mini duel to get a card (eg Professor Slughorn just outside of Moaning Mytle's bathroom)
How do you convert echoes into echo crystals?
Yeah they are cheap for us just the first round was a ton of chests and coins they don't regenerate. Occasionally they'll be a hidden search some where in the castle or a shop but it's not a combo of things. it's a whopping 5 echo crystal. Occasionally I'll find something on the grounds they will have coins, gems, and crystals but that's an extremely rare occasion now. Red keys, after the first year they are non existent. I wish I knew that!
I would recommend saving gems for red keys or wheels (if cosmetics are your thing)
So you think the red keys are worth it? I was on the fence about that one yesterday and was thinking about buying some with the gems I have.
@@RetroRaconteur I have played countless gacha games and this seems like the system you're supposed to roll for, since they are limited banners with specific cards. Now, I'm not sure how limited they are in this game but in others it is usually a rotating banner system.
It’s clearly the same. I made sure that I put my entire focus and keys on the Ron, I went for my first 10 pull on the legendary banner and got it on first 10. Now I’m focused on maxing Ron because he may not comeback for a while.
@@JohnDoe-pd4jo I actually got a Ron copy in a gold pack but that was after pulling him through the banner, so I'm not sure how that works.
@@damgfulu can get Ron from the gold draw it's just that you have a higher chance of getting Ron in the enrollment banner

They need to include a way to regain the gold and blue gems back if you feed the upgraded echos to another one. Even if you only get a percentage back that's better then nothing.

3:25 One thing about the echos is that even if you do level up the "wrong" rarity, you can still use that rare or common echo to level up an epic or legendary.
Plus, you can attempt to change the cards of an epic or legendary echo after leveling it up, but you only get a limited number of tries before the echo "becomes too fragile".

I started solo exploration with a low-level deck, and now that I have better spell cards, I can't switch them out. It doesn't matter which one of my decks I activate. When I enter the battle, it's always the same low-level deck. How do I fix it?
Also I forgot - when switching servers go into the options in the cogwheel at bottom left - Go through the options to find the Auto Login option. Turn that OFF if switching servers. Otherwise it may keep trying to log in on the server you choose and not giving you and option to switch servers (not sure if they fixed this bug)

Oh, I was trying to figure out how upgrading cards worked. And the Currency is very confusing I've been hogging keys with the exception of daily activities.
Informative video, I saw another video tho where someone said that it's wise to hold on to one's gold and spend it for the red keys. But only if there is a card to get that you want. Also I see that you're playing the game on pc, I can't find anywhere to download the pc version. Does it have something to do that I'm in Europe? If so, I might have to wait a little longer.

My hugest mistake was I saved all my gold keys until I ran out of stuff to do from having just started the game and finishing all the release events and then NOT REALIZING the first key had unlimited rerolls and wasting it and just accepting the first roll cause it had a legendary (which imo was a shitty one I don’t care for malfoy gang, could have gone for a curse instead). Regrets. But I’m too deep in to start over now for just that.

Whats your opinion on spending gems on gold as without thinking I spent 1000 gems on gold to level up all cards at lv28. Did it to stop losing so quickly.

Oh...if you are using Bluestacks, are you having to use the mouse to move or does the phone controls still work on the bigger screen as I am using a mirror app for droid and if I full screen I can't use phone controls which is horrible when using mouse?

Obscurus is the most versatile, for sure. AK is very high risk/high reward type of spell. It's also much more difficult to pull off.

I actually found that if you refresh the daily legendary card you could possibly get the mythic Ron Weasley card, although I don’t know if you have to get the initial copy of the card first before it appears in the daily legendary card slot.

I’d prefer to play this on PC, but America is region locked for now. So I’ve been playing on my phone just to check it out, but I’d like to start from scratch and link my WB account.
Is there a way for me to delete my current character, and start over without changing regions?
There’s three so far in America so I’m not super worried about switching regions on the phone.
Also once I link my account, is it possible when America is eventually unlocked on PC for me to access the linked account even if I switch servers? These are the only real problems I’m running into at the moment and I’d appreciate some advice. Thank you.
A character you have is linked to one server as far as I know, if you haven't already logged in with your wb account and only play on a guest account and want to play with a new character on the server your current character is, then you can go ahead make a wb account or log in with a wb account and pick that server. The current guest account probably will be lost, and it's character. And the next character will be locked for the chosen server, but as said in the video regions share different servers but you can still interact/play partly with people from another server within your region/ the region you picked.
For example I'm playing in the Europe region and we have 2 serves as far as I know, I have one character linked with my wb account on one server. I can't play on the other server with my current character but would have to create a new character. If my sister would also play the game and chose the other server my character isn't on we would still be able to play together for a certain part (like forbidden forrest, classes etc., idk what it says for duells tho).

I've been having a problem with haunted hollow - Ended up doing the first one on my own accidentally but managed somehow 🙃😅 but I have a social club now and friends who have caught up in the game and everything... Yet I cannot start my own haunted hollow and add people to play with? Not even AI companions?! The first time I did level one accidentally alone, I had the "+" symbol next to my avatar just like at 6:28 in this video, but since then I have not had it again and it just shows me stood there like at 6:08 - With nothing but the assist button in the bottom left to wait in queue to join someone else hosting the match? Up to now, me and my partner have just had to sit and wait watching the queue together to see if we get the same one pop up and join quickly. Anyone know what im doing wrong or if it is a bug? Thanks for any help 🙏
You have 2 ways to do haunted hollow, solo or with aid.... On the left is solo and right is with help
you can spend gold to change the boosted cards for each echo
I’m a gamer from the 80’s. Super Mario Bros was my game. I can not play the games of today. Too many buttons. I downloaded Hogwarts Mystery & love it. I downloaded this game Awakened & had the hardest time. I ended up uninstalling it. What always got me was the battles. There’s too much going on.

You can use lower echos upgraded or not to upgrade higher level echos instead of blue gems. There is a filter on the right where you can make it show echos and not gems.
Red keys, after the first or second year they expect you to $BUY$ red keys with real money. So if your looking if you had to wait until all but 2 keys to get Ron Weasley like I did. Well unless you get extremely lucky for Minerva McGonagall you'll have a decision to make. Same goes for the mystery. There are keys with a different background to purchase and they imply that you have a higher chance of winning with them, and that's completely bull. Don't be fooled like me.
I wish I knew I'd loose a lot of my rewards by playing the story first and not keeping up the forbidden forest.
Also, there are little red dots on places where you should tap either it's new or you have rewards. It took me a while in my space, every piece of furniture you have to tap on just like the echos (unless you use the new echo right away to upgrade) to make the red dots go to neutral. I know some have pet peeves about leaving stuff like that undone 😊 oh also, it may have just been me, but I didn't know I could go back to an easier dance level. Just tap on the level and you'll see your best score next to each level of the dance and you select the desired one. Note have a way to hold up your phone so both hands are free for the upper levels if you have small hands and a larger device is my advice. My first attempt at a 4 I got a C 😂

Unfortunately this is a known bug that still hasn't been fixed. My son has it too. I think it's something to do with the age set at the beginning of the game.

Did they change the rarity cards? Cause i saw before around other server games like taiwan and china ron wasn’t a mythic but legendary
Hmm. That's possible! I didn't play any at all until the global launch. I did find it strange that Ron appears to be the only Mythic card in the game.
Asian version has different versions of the cards. They also have cards the global version doesn't have like Bushy haired young Hermione Granger and the Golden Snitch card.
I upgrade my cards altogether but then I realized the blunder for not getting the shop cards like Avada Kedavra cost 30k of gold, now that will be a game changer for your deck.
I held my gold and just got that card last night,surprised how good this game is.

I’m confused, I’m stuck at the first part of the story where Lottie asks me to go to the Dueling Club, after I did some rounds of dueling, I’m still stuck at that part of the story ?? I can’t even leave the dorm! I think it’s because it says my account is a Guest Account, but idk how to log in 😅?
As I sarted the game I logged in with my wizarding account right at the beginning, I don't know if you can still link your guest account to it or have to start a new character logged in with an account right from the start. But I would't know why the game wouldn't let guest accounts play the game, since having an account is pretty much only for dafety that you don't lose your progress or you can transfer your account data to other devices. Also idk if the game takes notice of one's wizarding world profile, since on the website I got sorted into Ravenclaw and ingame I got put into Ravenclaw too directly (I had the chance to pick another house tho if I wasn't ok with Ravenclaw).
You can bind your account to google in the setting.

You need to set up a WB Games Account if you don't have one already. Then you can login on any device and it will pull everything over.

I kind of not counting my ruby keys when I went all out. Dammit! Having Ron is nice, but hopefully I'll save the remaining Ruby keys for possibly future ones.
The guaranteed number like after 20 keys and still no epic cards, you'll get it on the 20th. It's called the Pity System as introduced in Hearthstone back in the early days

I saw some people putting multiple companions in one game like one person put three malfoys in one game which is confusing me can someone ex0lain to me how to do this?
The Malfoy Gang companion spawns in Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle together. You can also get more than 3 total companions with the Fred & George echo.

Updating rare echo to max costs basically nothing. I updated 3 rare echoes, 2 legendary, 2 epics and I have like 5k echo shards
Unfortunately it also requires gold to do those upgrades though. And as you get your cards higher level, they'll cost even more to upgrade so you won't have as much left for upgrading the echoes.
I just use my debit card, best card in the game

How is the f2p aspect in the game?
Great in my opinion. Theres a 12 (might be 14) day cooldown on buying legendary cards for 20,000. This means you can't pay for constant legendaries. It seems that most things you can pay for are keys, gold and cosmetics. Keys give random cards obviously (very low legendary droprate) and gold will help you upgrade said cards, but you need a lot of legendary cards to upgrade to a higher level.
I'm f2p and im not finding any issues at all. Its just a really fun, well made game to be honest mate

The annoying thing about the fast travel is how many things interrupt it. Like, if you're in the dueling club, and you begin to fast travel, another player enters the dueling club, it interrupts the fast travel and you have to go back into the map and double tap on where you want to go again.
