Following our super popular BMW i8 Apple CarPlay system from the guys over ‪@bimmer-tech‬ we have been upgrading a decent amount of other BMWs with the MMI Prime System to offer Apple CarPlay and NOW Android Auto!
In this video we're working on a 2013 BMW 4 Series with the pretty awful and out-of-date NBT iDrive which nowadays can't even connect to a modern day iPhone for Bluetooth Handsfree.
Once installed it will offer all the favourites such as Waze, Google Maps and Spotify! Certainly bringing this vehicle into the 21st Century and keeping you safe whilst on the road!

I have 2013 328i xdrive and my display comes on then seconds later go to no signal. I still have radio/Bluetooth. Will replacing the unit fix my issue

Hi mate, I have a 2012 F30 that doesn’t have satnav or audio streaming pre-installed. What’s the best way to go to upgrade to these features?

I’m wondering the same thing! Want to install a new display with Apple CarPlay but my car does not have iDrive, satnav, or audio streaming so I am unsure if it will work when I install it.
