- Installing an Apple CarPlay MMI box for my friend’s F30 BMW 335i, this DIY will work for any BMW with the NBT I-Drive. This MMI box is similar to Bimmer Tech MMI Prime in that it uses the stock iDrive to upgrade the wireless CarPlay interface on the original screen without the need for an extra Android unit. since it uses aux does the sound quality take a dip? honestly

Having couple issues. My audio cuts out pretty consistently going to check wiring but idk if it’s a setting to fix it? Top of that phone calls do not work can’t hear anyone and no one can hear me. siri doesn’t work. any thoughts?

Hey brotha quick question, idk if youve ran into this so i installed my mmi box however i cant get the wireless carplay to work but the main issue is it will work through wired however i get no sound at all, i rechecked all my work 3 times but nothing took everything off and it works stock thankfully

@@shpendazizi8225 the plastic AC vent is flexible and easily able to be bent aside for room to hide the box.
Finally after i was frustrated enough i simply said fuck it and sent ittt... So it went in 🙌, thank you man!
