Especially weird considering even if they are running their entire broadcast off of a PC, they should at least have it display through a playback device and not the MAIN DISPLAY!
The same thing happened in my area where a local channel called “TV2” blue screened while still on the air for more than 12 hours overnight. possibly due to a CPU error. very rare that this happens on live TV
judging by the error IRQL_IS_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the fact it says something about memory before it disappeared tells me that they had a ram failure its not the software but the computer theres a chance it could be the software though maybe a conflict well thats what you get for running a computer 24/7
based on the fact "xena_hd.sys" was the driver in question, i think you're right that it's hardware, but not necessarily RAM. the parameters say that the interrupt trying to be handled was attempting to read something, and gave an IRQL of 2, meaning the driver was asking for an improper address with a too-high IRQL. the driver itself points to an AJA XENA HD capture card, meaning the capture card was probably trying to reference the system's video memory and failed.
I have scala on.my computer i got this computer from an auction and it has scala on it and am having fun with.it am preety blessed and lucky to have it am probley.the only person in the world that has scala on there home computer
Just a question…how is it to use it? Bcz I wanna use it on my old windows xp pc and I think that I have a working copy of that but if it’s not stable I’ll better not use it
Dray Crouse Due to the error seen on the BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death) it commonly happens when the computer is run for too long so it has trouble finding the data due to a RAM failure.
Damn, seeing Windows crash on live tv is really interesting. Kind of like knowing that some broadcasters still used commodores until a few years ago
Any links to that kind of info? Seems really interesting.

Blue Screens in unexpected places is my favorite brand of physical humor
It would be 21st century humor seeing something like this appear on TV today.
Don’t you just love it when the news gets the blue screen of death? I sure do.
OK THIS IS LEGIT FUNNY THAT THIS HAPPENED LIVE LMAO

this also explains why the windows xp startup screen was running so slow (the animation was lagging)
Memory leak for staying a long time up and running

The "something about memory" is actually a notice about writing a log to the System, as it mentions "Beginning dump of physical memory."
@@wifi7365 but it could be the capture card
2:17 proper nostalgia there
Sounds like there may have been a rare driver bug (or possibly an equipment failure) which brought the local system down...
I think I see their problem:
They're using Windows XP when they should have upgraded to Windows 7 a year before.
Or maybe they downgraded to Windows XP from 7.
THey will upgrade to Windows Vista To work
are you still as stupid as you were 3 years ago? upgrading...fixing...fucking nothing *as said on shit windows10 fucking failure
Remember, Windows XP is still very prevalent in many countries, such as Armenia where over 50% of computers use Windows XP.

Do you guys know about Prevue Guide? This is a redux of that, it seems. lel

I've never seen this happen before. I wonder how it could show this live even when the whole computer rebooted.
It’s probably another computer that is transmitting it, it’s just the screen is plugged into the broadcast equipment
There's probably a capture card hooked up to the Windows XP machine that's capturing the video output and broadcasting it.

This brings me back to playing GunZ the Duel and drinking an entire jug of Gatorade rain no cup involved.
That would have been so weird to see live.
I seen that happen here few years ago, I found it really interesting.

Don't they run off of Windows 7 though?
Yeah, probably was downgraded to support some legacy software that would crap out on Win7
