    Stunning sound from this player. I'm impressed. I have a mint-condition color booklet promoting this player when it was being introduced. Gorgeous publication.

    I live in Kalamazoo County and just discovered this whole Duplex subject. Drove by its factory just the other day...Very, very interesting. I've read the whole KPL article on it and am hungry for more information. :-)

    An electrically recorded record on a mica diaphragm…. This machine would sound better with a pre-1926 acoustically recorded recording

    Surely by exposing sound from each side of the diaphragm, the out-of-phase sounds will cancel and reduce the quality?
