I live in Kalamazoo County and just discovered this whole Duplex subject. Drove by its factory just the other day...Very, very interesting. I've read the whole KPL article on it and am hungry for more information. :-) Nice looking specimen you have there!

Super nice machine, fortunately for me I was able to purchase one from a friend in Pennsylvania. Love it.

An electrically recorded record on a mica diaphragm…. This machine would sound better with a pre-1926 acoustically recorded recording
IS it for sale?
Surely by exposing sound from each side of the diaphragm, the out-of-phase sounds will cancel and reduce the quality?
