At times I'd take a quick lunch break and pause the game just to hear "PIZZA TIME!" so that I could feel like I was eating with thee Ninja turtles. God I has such a innocent childhood.

A+B+Select at the Level Select screen. Also the famous Konami code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A) works in this game - it will restore your life.
This was the first game I ever beat. I was about five or six and beat it in the backseat of my dad's car on our way to a lake. I distinctly remember Krang laughing after the end credits. That was about 16 years ago and haven't played it again since. I should pick up another copy.
The music just gets better and Better. It was like going to a rave . Techno, Trance, Synth Heaven. Level 2 music had NO BUSINESS being that good. It alone could wipe the floor with the MAJORITY of game musics from any platform.
I found a copy of this game in a coat pocket when I found in between classes in middle School. Took the coat to lost and found and I kept the game. No regerts!
This, Mario Land 2, Castlevania Adventure, and Tetris, were the games I had for Game Boy. I didn't play Pokemon until Game Boy Color with Pokemon Crystal on my tenth birthday.

Such an amazing game this was, especially for something that came out in 1990, which both sounded, and also looked very good for a mere Game Boy game. It was at the very least far better than the forgettable original T.M.N.T. N.E.S. game, which everyone seemingly had, but never really liked all that much, and was virtually impossible to finish for that matter also.

The only difference is the game's title called "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan". Eventually I completed the game by carrying on from the last place where I've been captured.
