We need them to sell the accessories separately. Lovely looking radio 😍 surprised they didn’t engrave the power button for you. They really should launch all variants at the same time. I’d gladly have shelled out for this edition, but couldn’t wait the 8+ additional months

That carbon black & gold color scheme looks soooo nice! I think that is the best max version. I'm so tempted by this but my TX16s is still going strong. Maybe if they make a Gemini elrs tx version I will finally ditch the tx16s for the boxer.

I have the gold AG01 🤩. Such overkill for the tiny amount of whoop fpv flying I do, but it's feels soo good in the hands.
I have the Clear version and I got in touch with radiomaster and seeing they have just the button's cause I'd rather have the Clear with the cnc button's on it but they don't have them available yet. But once they do I'm getting them.
And theyve now brought out even better gimbals 🤪

I have the rotor riot edition and bought the sticky 360 stick ends (but cant decide whether they are the best thing for it!). I just need the leather side grips (are they better than the rubber ones for grip?).

How does the leather feel? Does it provide better grip than rubber / than skateboard grip sand paper?
I would buy second BOXER if they would release it with internal Gemini module and internal antennas. With option to switch one to external antenna, directional for long range.

An "ultra" edition would be cool. Replace that screen with a small touchscreen like what is on thr TX16S
the roller button is a bit wobbly, and not as good as basic TX16S. Wishe they did color LED/LCD screen instead of monochrome, it reminds me Nokia ) AG01 gimbals are too tight even at max loose setting. Other than that - great radio.
Would be nice if they could do one of the folding and pivoting antennas.
The folding antenna for the pocket is like $4.99 from radiomaster. I was thinking of buying one and modding my boxer, but was kind of hoping to see someone do it on CZcams first lol.

Hi Ian. I've been searching for a new radio in the past 72 hours now. Please tell me reasons why I shouldn't get a TBS Tango 2. I've been looking at it, Zorro and the Boxer. I just noticed the switches are similar to the one I have now, Jumper T16. They are not brittle. Maybe, Radiomaster used a stronger material.
I don't understand - what is actually different, other then gold and leather and pseudocarbon stuff? I don't care about looks - is this one in any other way different from regular Boxer? Better gimbals? Better how?
Torn between this and jumper t20 gemini, does anyone have any thoughts?

The Switch and Button Placement however totally ruins it.
As a thumber you would want to put all your fingers (minus the thumbs) at the back of the Radio.
But the metallic switches are at the front. And even if you put your index-fingers at the top, you can't comfortably reach them.
Also I saw a pincher, who said, it's easy to accidentally hit the metal switches while pinching.
Now there are buttons at the top.
You might accidentally press them, if you put your fingers there.
Also when the left button is pressed (and locked in), your finger will lay on a sharp edge.
Really huge bummer.
Otherwise it seems to be great.

Great video. I have just ordered a Boxer Max from radiomaster direct. One thing that confuses me, the website does not state 1w, only 1000hz. Is this them not saying because of the LBT limitatons? I ordered the FCC version as I dont give af. Im assuming it will all still work in the uk?
Yea the LBT and FCC version is the same radio it’s just firmware that’s different and you can flash it either way. They tent to not mention the RF power to much. But it is 1W.

I love your videos. Several times now I noticed unpleasant feel of missing motion blur from this workshop camera. I am not such an expert to be able to say if it needs to have different shutter speed or different fps, but it is quite noticeable with your hands gesticulation and feels strangely artificial.
It’s due to the way I have to record at times with the frame rate. It’s something I need to change.
I like the gold theme, i have a golden Zorro, but the Boxer is still ugly, sorry. 😅
Then ask for a folding antenna
The price is kinda crazy. I'd pay $350 for it.
Not so max and why cant we get it with a normal loking shell... metal buttons are nice... but the antenna should have been fixed now when competing with jumper t20 that got that part right.

I don't know why thy don't give their radios a better screen. My Gameboy in 1997 had a better screen refresh than my 2024 Boxer 😂
It’s been somewhat held back by the OS. They are all still based on F4 microcontrollers ans they have limited overhead today for more flashy OS. However H7 support is coming so more colour and better screens will likely be around the corner.
That fake carbon fiber is hideous. Either give us real or just black.
Put enough lipstick on any radio and it's still the same radio they released. Why on earth would anyone want to drop more money on yet another boxer after you were sold the basic one a year ago. Stupid marketing by a good company. Put all the bling on the radio from the beginning and then sell them!
Some people just want a barebones radio that does the job, some people want all the bells and whistles, only stupid people who doesn’t understand marketing would think this is a stupid idea, Radiomaster literally offer options to cater people with different needs and budget, anyone with 3 digit IQ could tell.
Best, this is a clone of a 2011 frsky radio. Have you seen some of the radios frsky has been putting out these radiomasters look like cheap toys compared to something like a Tandem x20 pro. This is cheap shite and you know it.
