You & I know, it was just an appreciation hug, in his blurred belief again, Marissa had generously consented to donation of Jake's bone marrow with no exchange. This is one of the reasons why Marissa had forced Ellice to sign the Deed of Non-Disclosure to protect herself from looking bad in the eyes of Gabriel & family and to further her other revenge plans.
