When Marissa told Sonya that Jacob was dead, I could feel all the pain she’s been through. Yes she has committed many unforgivable things but she never failed to be a mother and it hurts so much to know that the one child you love so much died in your own arms. Ouch!

Eula's acting approach is different, shes relaxed, but her acting is on point, very sassy and diva , i like her deep voice it makes her powerful, but her acting is a bit plain
Jodi's acting is complicated, not everybody can imitate her acting, she always present new facial expressions which surprises the viewers, i can see a bit of hollywood acting in her because she plays with her eyes and the movements of her mouth, and it makes her special from other filo actresses..
Eula Valdez is not over acting like Jodi...watch her at Love Thy Woman...so classy...

If you've only watched since eps 1 and until this very recent episode you would say otherwise. Yes, Marissa was envious of Ellice's riches. Her fame. The attention the people gave her. But never did she do anything bad to Ellice. Episode 1 pa lang, oo naiingit si Marissa, pero never siyang gumawa ng masama sa kaibigan niya.
Now, ung tatay ni Ellice? After Ellice 'killed' a man. Diba si Marissa pa ang nadehado? Kahit oo, naiingit si Marissa kay Ellice. Diba nagawa niya pang akuin ang kasalanan ni Ellice para lang maligtas ang kaibigan niya?

Marissa’s pains and angers made her a cold hearted trying to make things work . I’ve never seen MS. Jodi played hard role like this before. Pardon me if I expressed my slight criticisms on MS. Jodi’s crying painfully with perfect eye liner/ makeup without tears. He he. I love her role in 100 DAYS TO HEAVEN.

But they were talking about why Jake can't give Hope the bonemarrow. And Sonia said she knows Marissa is not heartless. So Mari had to be honest and say that Jake is not Jacob and that Jacob died she also said she suspects Elice had help from Ceasar and begged Sonia not to tell anyone.

A little backstory: At this point, Gabriel’s family thinks that Jake is Gabriel and Marissa’s son from years ago because that’s what Marissa told them. Now, Hope (Gabriel’s daughter with Ellice) has leukemia and the doctor said she will need a bone marrow transplant with a sibling as an ideal donor. So Ellice (Hope’s mother) asked for Jake’s help because she thinks that he is Hope’s only sibling. Jake agreed but since Jake is still a minor, he needs Marissa’s consent to donate. Marissa refused to allow Jake to donate.
Back to this video: Sonya (Hope’s aunt, on the left) found out about Marissa’s decision and confronts Marissa (on the right). Marissa then unwillingly admits to Sonya that the reason why, is because Jake and Hope are not really related because Hope’s real half sibling (Jacob) already died 17 years ago. Someone tried to kill both Marissa and Jacob at the time and unfortunately Jacob didn’t make it. Marissa suspects that Ellice was the person behind it, which is also one of the reasons why she doesn’t want to help Ellice’s family with Hope’s situation. At the end of this clip, Marissa asks Sonya not to tell the truth and to help her find justice for Jacob instead since he is Sonya’s real nephew anyway but Sonya didn’t give her an answer so we don’t know what Sonya would do next just yet.
