When listening to that song a few months back, a part sounded very very familiar to me, then it dawned on me that it was EXACTLY like the Eagle’s Lyin’ Eyes. Go 42 seconds into it. For the next 30 seconds it tracks with the exact same melody and chords as Lyin’ Eyes. You might even instinctively start singing, “You can’t hide, your lyin’ eyes…”. It’s really something else.
Check it out, and give your opinion in terms of how it compares to other instances of 2 songs having similarity (whether it resulted in a court case and judgement or not).

Well as that saying goes music soothes the savage beast….but unfortunately it only lasts so long and was definitely not meant to marriages together, as great as these songs are, at the end of the day it is up to the INDIVIDUAL as to whether or not to let the Love flow….period.

This is a timeless song. No matter how old or young you are it's one of those kind of songs that draws you in because it's so easy to listen to.
I had a band out of high school. We opened for The Bellamy Brothers for a Big Brothers Big Sisters Event. It was in 1981. They let me use their expensive ass keyboards. I was in Heaven. Ahhhhh great times! ❤❤❤

Yeah I found myself on a trip on the interstate highway when I was younger with my top down in the car listening to this song up nice and loud and when you're cruising along 75/80 mi an hour and you just listening to that it just going over the bumps and the dips it just makes you feel happy to be alive

BJ, you said it perfectly -- What is music missing today? It's missing JOY! It's missing HAPPINESS! It rarely sings about love in a happy light. I was in junior high school when this song was released and it still brings a smile to my face today. Shouldn't music make us feel good and bring a smile to our face? Today's music rarely does that. Of course, there's a place for sad ballads and "message songs", but love songs that uplift us almost don't exist. I am so blessed to have grown up in the 1970s when these songs permeated the radio. I heard them all the time and I feel so sorry for today's generation -- especially young ladies who almost never hear a real love song which makes them feel good about themselves.

There is a song that didn't hit the radio, there is no video. The song is called "Vagabond" by a Canadian band called Blue Northern. I love the song, kind of haunting. Anyway the band isn't around anymore, another song hit the charts, " Can't Make No Sense".
