- Just three weeks after crushing the competition in Phuket, Thailand, and smashing another world record in snatch, Karlos Nasar wowed us all over again. This time, it went down at the Bundesliga finals in Germany. Karlos impressed everybody with a massive 226 kg in clean and jerk, setting an unofficial world record!

@@miroslavfilyov5036 true but it's only 1.9KG barely 4LBs he needs to shave. That's the equivalent of having a lighter breakfast and dinner before the comp. Maybe taking a big dump beforehand.
He can definitely do 226KG as a proper 89 figuring he did it only 1.8 KG heavier.

@@SomeSeriousWeight If you are trying to break records, 1.8 kg of pure muscle would much more useful than just some water weight. They are probably getting as dry as possible during weigh-ins in order to pack as much muscle as possible. And visually he looks a little bigger too. So with that said, 225 kg I think if he really works hard on it, he should be able to achieve it and it would be monumental for 89 kg weight class

Reason why the Chinese didn’t sent any of their 89s
Local 🇩🇪 competition. Not international one. He might be Bulgarian but he is part of a German team as far as I know. In Bulgaria wrestling and boxing competitions are very well mad, but when it comes to heavyweight lifting not much advertising and support. And to your question after the last competition in 🇹🇭 one of the Chinese lifters literally step off the stage for good. We will see only one on the Olympic games in Paris.
