Armed police officer confronts American tourists for heckling member of King's Guard

- An armed Metropolitan Police officer has been forced to step in and shut down a group of tourists who had been heckling a British soldier standing guard in London.
A video posted TikTok appears to show a group of American tourists filming the soldier and shouting out names, hoping to get a reaction from the Household Cavalry trooper who was standing guard.

As an American whose father served in WW2 I am absolutley disgusted with the ignorant and clueless rude behavior of these immature creatures.God bless all of our military past and present who fought and died for our countries freedom and way of life.
For tourists this is the proper firm polite British way of saying "F-off now and don't say anything else"

That cop handled that excellently. Should be taught in the academy.
As an American, we don’t claim those brats as our own even though we are embarrassed by their behavior.
And not one of them had the decency to apologise for their behaviour.

The irony is that if they’d tried this at the tomb of the unknown soldier at Arlington they would probably have been arrested
The old guy that was with the group (don't know if he was the dad) was telling them to call the soldier "Sherlock". No wonder the young ladies weren't any better.
Those girls should have been arrested for harassment and not released until their parents arrived.
That officer was exceptionally restrained and professional
As an American who grew up blue collar and working class…. I considered it such a privilege to be able to travel outside of our country a few times as a young adult. And it absolutely disgusted me to be in places like the UK, Germany and Austria and run into other Americans behaving badly. Whether acting entitled or being rude/arrogant…. Just stay at home.
When I did this job back in the seventies I never remember tourists being this blatantly disrespectful. What makes it worse is there appears to be an adult man with them who is actively encouraging this lot of screeching brats to yell 'Sherlock' at the sentry.
To whoever that police officer is, thank you very much. The royal guards do not deserve to be made fun of at all.
