I love the way you and Bairnt film your playthroughs and live plays. It is so helpful to see the cards and boards close up, and makes it much easier to follow along. A lot of other creators just film birds eye views, but the viewers can’t really see the detail of the cards or what is going on! Love watching both of your content! Thanks a lot! :) we are currently playing through this game, just finished the 4th scenario, playing the 5th one tomorrow! :) loving it so far!
That is so cool! It takes a bit more to record this way but it really helps when you can see the cards etc. Have fun with scenario 5 it's a good one !!
Would definitely love to see another scenario (or two... or three)! The enthusiasm you bring to playing games is so infectious and I find dungeon crawls to be especially fun to watch.

Hi Colin & Bairnt! At 27:30, the rolled die matches the bottom activation, so the Roboorg (pun intended) would actually move. :) Not that he wouldn't get smashed further down in the video, I'm sure...!

love this game. so stream lined. they got rid of all the extraneous rules that dungeon crawlers dont need and kept all the fun. sadly, mine doesnt get to the table often enough, so yes, do more! We also desperately need a new Colin's Top 10 dungeon crawlers video. It's been a while. What's risen to the top? What's dropped off?

Watching a couple of play through video's because of the current Kickstarter campaign. You are making it's purchase very tempting since it looks like you could easily reset the game and replay levels with different characters. Also like the idea of a plexiglass cover that you mentioned. How big are the maps?
IT's SO GOOD!! the map is 16 x 24 and it works great having the plastic sheet over it for protection. Highly recommend it! it is very easy to reset given I am doing this campaign and my kids and I are on scenario 18 right now. Thanks so much for watching! I am backing the updated for the game!

Yeah it's not the cheapest but for 25 scenarios I feel like the price is worth it!

I love that the scenarios have different objectives other than just kill the enemies. So refreshing from gloomhaven!
Way more fun than Gloomhaven. Our group got bored of GH after a few sessions. We can't get enough of Tales even after 6 months.
I won't disagree there! The cards in gloomhaven are quite fun but these scenarios are awesome!!

@@alexcostillecks5952 GH has a lot of bloat and the difficulty is a bit too high. Setup takes a long time as well. Our group enjoys the streamlined experience of Tales of the Red Dragon Inn. Combat is more simple, but still tactical. The perfect difficulty for our group. Setup is also very quick in comparison.
If your group is more hardcore, GH is probably a better option.
