It’s very difficult to measure the other side because there’s no opening

Ed, you mention the decks being set at the factory. I just took delivery of a ZK today. Terrible cut first time using mower.I checked the blades and the rear blades were 3/4" higher than the front. . Brought the front up since there was not much thread left with the rear adjustment bolts. Now I'm down to a 1/2" pitch up in the rear. Still not a great cut. I'll bring the front pitch up to 1/4" lower than the rear. Hopes this helps the cut quality. Great videos. Always learning something.

Thanks for the info. We have our first Wright coming over from Sweden this week. A Stander RH 132 cm.
Can’t wonder but wondering how it feels to operate 🤠

If a person was trying to design their own deck is there a sweet spot for how close the rear baffles are located in relation to the end of the blade. Is there a deck where the rear baffles can be slid further away or closer to the blades to see effect on cut quality? Would there be and advantage to having a "kicker lip" on the bottom of the rear baffles that had the effect of nudging the blades of grass further forward into the blades?

Should the deck pitch be positive with a mulching deck?

with the string trimmer analogy on head pitch it almost sounds as if you have spent some time doing lawn service. I would have thought you came from a background more along the lines of manufacturing and design. But you suprised me. How about some hand held equipment from Wright with a focus on ergonomics. you cannot honestly believe that a string trimmer shaft length that is ergonomical for the biomechanics of a 7'2" lawn service person is also well suited to the person who is 5"7".....Right Wright??? oh wait I forgot,.. A tall person must be a pro and can get commercial grade and if you are a short person you cannot possibly do professional lawn service and therefore can get homeowner grade which are a little shorter.

Unfortunately my brand new intensity came pitched with the front drastically higher. Also, all adjustment points on the mower are all in different spots. When you spend 10 grand on a mower, You'd expect that to be done for you...

Yea take the stupid block off plates off…how could you ever expect a mower to cut grass good when it cant even shoot the grass out the side like its supposed to
