I went to screen mirroring in settings on my TV and seemed to have connected it to my computer, but it still doesn't work and still says Not Connected in my computer (laptop) settings. My Dell laptop is only about a year and a half old and my Roku TV only about 4 years old. Any way to fix? Thank you.

this is only possible due to miracast and doesn't work with older laptops that don't have miracast or bluetooth

I don't think it's possible atm, tho you could connect to 2 or more TVs' but at the end you've to select only one so.

It absolutely does, when your laptop is connected try "Win+P" and select Either Duplicate or Extend for it work like a monitor.
