Great, I will get my hands on one of these to try out, slow profile is what I’m looking for.
Now, my dream will be an ANPR turret. 😇

Love your videos - they are so incredibly useful and insightful. Cockatoos smashed our barely-used ColorVu before it got a proper run and we need to contact our local supplier to see if replacement glass exists.

Hi, been watching you for a while and have few questions, maybe some ideas for content. 1. Can you provide tips on complicated cabling for cameras, like how do you pull cables inside closed walls, or what you use for surface, some type of covers? 2. If you get top camera with all events, like flash, siren, line crossing, do you configure these options in the camera, or DVR or both? Also, some clients complain that VMs client 4200 slows down computer, not user friendly.. any tips on that? Is there another client can be used? Another question, is NVR really necessary? Since all cameras have SD cards and can be connected via hikconnect. What are the plus/minus.. thank you

This great news, the older pig nosed turrets were like this and I miss them as the low profile looks much better. Going forward will HikVision be doing this with all the 23 series?

Do you know if there any plans for Hikvision to make a motorised varifocal turret (2.8-12mm) camera with a built in microphone?

With the back box is it possible to cover that side hole so it's not an eyesore?

Is an NRV too loud to put in your bedroom next to your TV, or should it go in a different room?

hi dave, thank you for your video
as I check the data sheet of 2347G2-LU in the interface section/On-Board Storage it indicates we can use a SD card up to 512GB but in the Network section/netwokstorage, it says MicroSD 256 GB local storage so can we use 512GB SD card for these model?

Why not just buy both and test, they aren't exactly expensive in comparison to the camera?

how I can buy those cameras if I don't have a trade company ?

I'd start by not asking him in the comments section of a video watched those who do have a trade company.

Great cameras but CRAP management software , unfortunately not user-friendly with features and clunky. HIKConnect is pretty basic and trying to use IVMS remotely is pretty much impossible - slow and clunky (for me anyway).

Agree on ivms problems, just asked to provide tips. Client is garbage..

Agree with HIKconnect that I only use for the alarm.
For the camera, I take control remotely of my server where IVMS is installed. It’s the best solution for me.
I will give Hikconnect a new chance when I will get the fiber at both ends.
