Mission: Impossible is easily my fave action-movie franchise - to maintain such a high standard, over so many installments, is insane.

@@MadsSAndersen 100%...the first was an intro to the franchise and is not very big on action (it's more an espionage thriller like the TV show was like)....the second is the weakest in the franchise IMO but still has great action, from the third onwards the films get better with each new one...and this very last one was excellent. After watching each film you should then look up HOW they filmed the action sequences...you'd be surprised at the stunt work involved.

The plot of the Mission: Impossible movies isn't the point. It's the incredible action, and the knowledge that this is not CGI. I asked my mom what the plot of the most recent one was after she saw it in the theatre. She said, "I don't know...something about nuclear weapons."
yeah they could've made it less boring and dull though, like sure its not the point but MAN how fucking bad that Dead Reckoning was where between three big action scenes it was 30 minutes of non-stop clunky exposition, no jokes, no interesting dialogue or character, Fallout and Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation were always entertaining even if an action scene wasn't happening, the characters were fun to watch.

All these "making of" and "behind the scenes" videos, we're finding out they're productions with their own CGI just to sell the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Tom was in that helicopter with another pilot and they just removed him.
