There's a little I want to say About songs "paradise" . This tells about Siyeon's career journey from the beginning of Minx's debut until its disbandment. At that time, Siyeon felt like she almost wanted to give up being a singer, until finally she was reborn with Dreamcatcher, More or less the paradise that Siyeon refers to in the song is probably the current Dreamcatcher, where she finds happiness there with the other members and works comfortably. , Please correct me if there is something wrong about what I said about the song. Dreamcatcher's first full-length album, Dystopia: The Tree of Language, is my favorite album and all of the songs are masterpieces. Of course, all of Dreamcatcher's title songs and b-side songs are great.
So now you know why we sometimes call this album "The Holy Grail" 😅 Like, every song could be a title track. It's all so good. And very diverse. Just count how many genres were in these songs. Anyway, for Black or White, you also really need to watch their Music Bank performance. For Red Sun, they did a slightly altered version on a show called Webtoon Singer (white outfits, for a vampire webtoon). I recommend watching that too. For Jazz Bar, I just like every live performance. Not that they are that special, but it's just so good and chill.

An album full of great surprises. And the best for me is “In the Frozen”. DC is so unique and so phenomenal at the same time. Unfortunately, I can't listen to Siyeon's "Paradise" that often because I'm sometimes built too close to the water.

Scream will always be iconic. It's such a powerful song and the choreography is amazing. Tension really feels like an older Dreamcatcher song, and I think was in contention to be a title track at one point. The messaging is also really important, and they have a lot of songs in the Dystopia trilogy, and elsewhere themed around this type of message. This is also one of their songs that they've re-recorded in English. They first performed the English version at Primavera Sound in Spain, last year, and I suspect that this version will be on their English album that's releasing soonish. Red Sun is also one of my favorite DC songs, even now. It's fantastic. The first time I heard it was in the car and I loved it. Then I saw the video and saw Sua did the choreography and that just reinforced how I felt about it. Black or White, also another favorite. The homage to Michael Jackson in sound, aesthetic, & message, is another fantastic song. The outfit changes show just how in sync they are with their dancing. There's an awesome Music Bank performance where they filmed their performance in these same outfits and then stitched it together that's equally impressive. Jazz Bar is just a really chill song, as long as you're not watching footage from the most recent tour, because that was NOT chill at all, lol. I think it's a favorite among the members as well as several have said that if they could do an MV for one song that never got one it would be this one. Also, the vocals in Jazz Bar are just stupid. Sahara feels like a more modern/western take on their rock sound and the self-made MV does a good job of showing the chaos that is Dreamcatcher. Unfortunately, it's almost more of a distraction on a first listen because it's so chaotic. In the Frozen is an awesome addition to their EDM/Electronic songs and the message is once again a great one. Persevering against all odds. Daybreak feels a bit like a sibling to Jazz Bar. Again, ridiculous vocals. For Paradise, Siyeon's gaze in that MV is lethal. Every time I watch it, I feel like she's staring into my soul. I've seen it mentioned that she wrote Paradise about their uncertainty when Minx was failing and before they knew what was going to happen, which seems to fit with the lyrics, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The song is beautiful though and while I really like the MV version, the Piano version is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. It's definitely going to hit you harder but it's the superior version, imo. Just Siyeon's vocals and a piano, perfection. For Dystopia: Lose Myself, the only suggestion I have is to watch the Live showcase version of Break the Wall before you watch the self-made MV. That song is so powerful and good that I believe it deserves a listen without the chaotic antics, which I absolutely love, distracting from it. Andrew Lee's channel has a recording of the Live Showcase version and I've seen many people react to it. Looking forward to the next one!
