I hated the way the 3rd album got slated. Apparently it was too loud. Rock and roll is meant to be loud. Thanks Liam for doing songs from this great album.
I think it got slated, and Noel still slates it, because the instrumentals were pretty awful, guitar layered onto guitar. If you take away liams vocals (which in my opinion are some of the best he's done), what remains is a indecipherable cacophony of noise and random guitar wails.
I love Be Here Now, it captures a time that i remember well, all the hype/anticipation on MTV before its release. There are a few forgettable tracks but also many solid ones
Be here know is one of the best albums ever, and so what if the songs last fifteen minutes or there's to meny guitar rifts, this album is quality full stop
