i have the same problem with my kx 85, it bent the same way on the video which is weird because the exhaust comes from the left. the leek isnt big enough to make a whole lot of noise but i think its the reason why my bike is running lean
I had the same problem so I tried it and the mount closer to my the silencer was about an inch away and the exhaust was touching the cylinder. After fucking around with it for a while I got it to not touch the frame but it was still an inch away so I made a mount to attach them. It works but my bike will never be the same
Having the same issue now even before I try to bend it back on the KX250. Exhaust fits snug into the head but once mounted silencer is off 1/2 ' .. smh
I have the same guard and discovered today I have the exact same exhaust port alignment issue. Thanks for the vid!
This was my exact issue with my FMF pipe on my '09 200 XC. Thanks for this video!!!!!
Awesome! Thank you for the video, you just saved me several hundred bucks.
Wow, you just saved me a new pipe! Thanks!

Awesome thanks mate! Ive read this was possible but seeing the way you did it, thats so much easier than I thought. Thanks heaps!

Great idea, fixed my 200!!!
I just did this to my 200 xcw and it worked great 👍
Great video!
The OEM 200 pipe is better than any of the aftermarket pipes performance wise. The only issue is that it was very lightly built.
Great video and idea. Thanks.
Thanks this was help full

And mine was bent and 1 1/2 took a bit more ugh but fits perfect. I also did new o-ring and high temp Permatex.
Legend I had a bump and expansion sits with 2mm between it and radiator clearance is perfect again
thank you. I got the same issue on sx 250. No I know what to do
Great, just did the same and it's perfect
awesome!
This worked except I used a long shovel handle into the header end and just bent it back no problem!
I have a same problem in my 200 thanks !
will be doing this tonight
are you the guy from the "ninja audition" video??

So it doesn’t bend again, I would jam a piece of metal in the 1” gap.
I don't think it's the guard. It's from hitting the pipe on the small side that does it. Nothing a guard can prevent or cause.
Nice I wish it was that easy for me I took a hit on the opposit side of the pipe Bending it out away from my cylinder
Heat it, use a broom end. (Haven’t verified, just heard)
@@rossmcdo 👍🏼👍🏼
They need to make another connection to the frame.
Mine not working, it’s making it more worse
