Dr. Berg discussed vitamin D and Calcium.
The symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are very similar to a calcium deficiency. Not having enough vitamin D could cause a deficiency in calcium because one of the functions of vitamin D is to increase the absorption of calcium by 20x.
    Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency
    • Chronic Low Back Pain -(1st Subclinical Symptom)
    • Muscle Weakness
    • Muscle Spasm
    • Non-Specific Pain
    • Daytime Drowsiness
    • Mood Changes
    • High Blood Pressure - without vitamin D the arteries would get stiff.
    • Low Immunity
    • Sweaty Head (1st Subclinical Symptom)
    • Structural Problems - Kids
    Symptoms of Calcium Deficiency
    • Muscle aches
    • Tingling - Lips, mouth, feet, hands
    • Muscle Cramps - Bruising
    • Fatigue
    • Throat Spasm
    • Tetany
    • Sweaty Head
    Causes of Calcium Deficiency
    • Kidney Problem
    • Not consuming enough in Diet
    • Not having enough stomach acid
    • Parathyroid Problem
    • Electromagnetic frequency
    • Glucose
    • Deficient in Magnesium
    Causes of Vitamin D Deficiency
    • No Sun - Winter
    • Not consuming enough fats - Low Fat Diet
    • Gallbladder problem
    • Stress - High Cortisol
    • Gastric bypass
    • Colon Issue
    • Too many sun blockers

Its so obvious too and I've had a lot of trauma to my nose over the years. Some doctors are kinda useless and just want you in and out as quick as possible

Thank you for your clarity doctor. I’m a thyroid cancer patient that has been dealing with hypo parathyroidism for eight years now. It has really been a challenge. After eight years I’ve gotten a pretty good grasp on my calcium. A couple of years ago I had kidney failure due to elevated blood calcium. My endocrinologist was suggesting I up my calcitriol and I ended up overdosing it. Since I’ve had to maintain my calcium levels using only one Calcitrol pill a day. Recent test of Shawn my blood calcium is 7.4. This is too low. I’ve been suffering from severe back and rib cramping. It’s debilitating . The endocrinologist a little help. The emergency room is a little help. The information you provided has actually helped. Thank you

Dr Berg, could you do a video on the dif forms/types/sources of calcium? Plant-based, powder /tablets/capsules form? Food sources alone doesn’t help , you’d have to sit at the dining table all day to ingest tons of veggies just to get the minimum! And there are those who don’t take dairy (cheese) for health reasons.

  • @mvdmusicvideostorefreshthe3224

Hello Dr Berg, my sister has multiple sclerosis and her stomach has also been damaged by steroids over the years, she suffers from stomach problems, I have watched other videos by yourself in regards to the bile salts but you recommended not taking them if you have IBS, Celiac or Krohn's disease, so would your potion of Vitamin D and K2 with the addition of bile salts be suitable and effective? In other videos you have mentioned Magnesium that works synergistically with vitamin D & K2, so it is necessary to take something in the right proportion, for example, one of your videos 'suggested' a ratio of 1 to 1 between Calcium and Magnesium but how do you know how much you take and how much is the RDA (recommended daily allowance), is it trial and error? Stomach problems also inhibit the absorption of these vitamins, if I'm correct, so would taking your product work? I really appreciate the fantastic education you give, although I have read the 'disclaimer' as many people relate, your videos are excellent. Thanks again Doc.

Is it normal for bile salts to cause a burning sensation in the stomach when taken after eating? I'm using standard Process brand, but I also have celiac, and no gallbladder. I suspect I may have SIBO because of the bloating and worsening intenstine pain when I eat veggies and take probiotics. Does SIBO and celiac commonly go hand in hand? Thank you Dr. Berg!!!!! It seems most people are not low in calcium. They are low in Vit. D which helps calcium to be absorbed. Also it's important to take Vit K2 along with D3 so the calcium gets directed into our bones and not end up where we diffenetely don't want it....which is in our soft tissues which includes our arteries!YIKES!😨
